Great band, even better now. He's easy to separate from Plant. His timbre, range (higher) and yodeling are different.
The Greta fans love every one of these guys, from Josh and his identical twin Jake, the guitar player, their younger brother Sam who plays bass and keys, and their brother from another mother, drummer Danny Wagner, so we’re always glad to hear that Josh is using proper form and his fantastic voice will be around for many years as long as he takes care of it. As far as the Robert Plant/Led Zeppelin comparisons, we really wouldn’t mind those if it wasn’t for the ones claiming GVF are talentless wannabes without any originality. That burns our biscuits…So thank you for confirming those statements are just hot air!
These guys are AMAZING!!!!! I am 57 yrs old and have seen so many great concerts & we were lucky enough to see these guys live August 5th 2021 & the amount of talent & energy was unbelievable. They are def keeping Rock n Roll alive!

I love Greta Van Fleet, and because they bring back that sound i love, the style of music I grew up listening to and seeing live. Can't wait to see them live, but I won't be until November. Great reaction!! keep reaction to Greta!!!
Forgot to add I am 70 years old and purchased my first 45, thats a vinal record not a gun, at the age of 5 and have followed all rock from the 50s to the current time.

This is one of my fav GVF tunes following "From the Fires". I recommend looking into the official music video for the song "Not Too Soon" by Throwing Muses. There's a strange and interesting vocal style in that one. It's Tanya Donnelly singing before she was the lead vocalist for the popular 90's group: "Belly".
It's Josh's choice to growel, his voice is just fine and not strained at all. Josh is not trying to sound like Plant at all, it's his real voice and the genetic make up in his vocal just happens to be like Plants,,,,so people have to get over it, and enjoy that another great singer has been born to this earth for us to enjoy! I don't believe Josh is working with a vocal coach. When you sang "Every day" you were flat on the second Day.
Thx for trying to get away from the zeppelin comparisons. If u listen without the zeppelin pre judgement u can hear Anne Wilson of Heart or Getty Lee of Rush and actions of Freddy Mercury of Queen and others. I also love Zeppelin but think Josh has a wider range.

Beethoven wrote this for piano but Dr. viossy transposed it for guitar and Tina slays it. It's very fast sounds like it was originally meant for electric guitar.
