I listen to GVF when I don't want to think about how upset I am (still) that my husband died last year. Josh's incredibly powerful and beautiful voice says what I cannot verbalize--he speaks for me! and def puts my mind in another place. That family of brothers is just incredible. They changed my way of thinking and helped me through the very difficult grieving process.

Their lead singer, Scott Jones, could sing very well anything from Led Zeppelin to Queen to Thin Lizzie and others. I am quite sure that he never took any formal voice training but he was still able to sing and going to one of their gigs was quite entertaining.

Glad I got to experience them on their first visit to these Shores in Glasgow St Luke's in 2018. They were relatively unknown and we were right at the front. Seen them 18mths later in Birmingham O2 and it was packed out. Hopefully get to see them Live again soon but they're hugely famous now so it won't be an intimate venue.

This live performance is actually awesome! I found it a long time ago and it’s the cleanest they’ve ever sounded. Everything sounds so perfect. Amazing live performance! You can find the video in the description or in my Greta Van Fleet playlist.

He sounds like Pumuckl, a kobold in a German series, whose voice was spoken by the actor Hans Clarin.

Recent fan here, love the channel! I wasn't sure where to drop suggestions, but I would love to see you do "Liar" by Rollins Band. Henry Rollins has always fascinated me as a vocalist - he has such a unique style blending intense spoken word with very deep singing, and I think it might pique your interest :)

Beth, would you be willing to share your thoughts and opinions on the vocals of “Heat Above”?
I heard it on the radio one day and was just struck by the vocals… thanks!

Josh's voice is actually someone accidental. Besides taking cues from the bands of the parent's time (70's, 80's), he said in a raid interview he just had to be so loud in order to be heard over the rest of band.

Rock n Roll is alive and well and in safe hands with kids like these. I’m due to see them in Nottingham next month after the gig was cancelled last March and I can’t wait. Keep doing what you are doing Beth, I love it.

Since you love family bands, you HAVE to check The Warning.
Start with Dust to Dust (live at Lunario).
I would really like to know what you'll think of them.
    Thanks a lot!
