"We make predictions and the gods laugh." Who knows but the game may change so much in four years time, all bets may be off. There may b no more centers/posts. Wings may be sprinters who can jump like track stars. There may be far fewer rebounds. Defenses may be unrecognizable especially if logo 3's become the rule. And rule changes may play a part. (p.s. You didn't mention Chennedy Carter.)

CC is the best PG literally ever. But I could see Paige being her second. Juju as a SG maybe but she’s also a shot chucker (she gives Arike). She may break CC scoring record but only if she plays more games than CC. I don’t think she’s doing it in less games. She played 34 games and shot 763 times her freshman year. CC played 30 games (Covid) and shot 564. Also, will be interesting to see how Juju scoring responds to Kiki joining the squad. Juju can be a ball hog and I’m not sure Kiki is going to be down with that. Will be interesting to see how she develops.

Kamilla Cardoso has a very good chance for the 2028 Olympics. In college for freshman and senior years, when she played near 25 minutes per game, Kamilla average 2.5 blocks per game and she shot near 60% plus she is a stout and tall big, and a Big big might be needed in 2028. Azzi Fudd has an outside chance, if she stays healthy.

Brink is better defensively than Boston who coming from S.C, is surprisingly average. Wilson and Brink would give the team 2 high flying shot blockers. Rim protectors get into the heads of opposing players. Brink will have to improve on offense but has 3 1/2 years to get that done.
    Jackson will be there.
It’s tougher with the guards. There’s a bucket full coming out next year that are all excellent and more coming. Yes, juju in 4 years but Hidalgo who actually might already be a more efficient scorer but also a great defender will be coming out. The landscape of the W will change with these guards alone, not talking about the post players.
The selection process will be even tougher. It is no lock for CC in 2028. It may seem that way right now, but the guard competition will be exceptionally competitive, and young. She definitely needs to add a midrange and cut down on her turnovers. Her biggest liability is on defense, but only she can decide to prioritize and improve enough on that. I don’t believe on just having players on the team that help with scoring. They need tough defense as well. No weak links that you have to sit on the bench like this year. They all need to play hard-nosed defense.
Sabrina didn’t impress me. Couldn’t free herself up, much like CC in the W. She had her pocket picked again in the gold medal game. Not a good defender. Yes better than Clark, but not good enough. She’s not an all-star in the more physical international play.

JuJu Watkins fans can be so delusional (just like CC fans too sometimes lol) -- "CC isn't on her level offensively" there is ZERO truth to that even if you compare her to Clark 4 years ago. Before I go on so you don't think I am a hater, I think JuJu is a great player and could be the GOAT someday because she is so talented and athletic. That said, she does not yet have a complete game like you claim, she is an average passer at best, in fact, she had more turnovers than assists! Also, she was not an efficient shooter (40.1 fg% and 31.9 3pt fg% is not good) and in her freshman year, she took 4 more shots than Clark and only scored a half a point more per game. Clark is a way, way better passer than her and Clark's unbelievable ability to make her teammates better clearly makes Clark a better offensive player and it's not close. To be balanced, while Clark is great rebounder for a guard, Watkins will probably end up being the greatest rebounding guard ever (unless she switches to small forward). And yes, Watkins is clearly better defensively than Clark, especially her on ball defense, and does have a better 2 point game than Clark. I think that it's a toss up between her and Paige Bueckers who will be the Player of the Year but I give the edge to JuJu, especially if she improves on her shooting efficiency and assists to turnover (both of which Paige is good at). Again, JuJu is an amazing talent but not as perfect a player as you described and clearly not as good an offensive player as Clark -- you are way underestimating Clark's passing ability and floor leadership, which greatly contribute to her team's offense.
