FDNY Battles Heavy Fast Moving Flames During 5th Alarm House Fire in East Williamsburg Brooklyn

    FDNY On Scene Brooklyn 5th Alarm Box 268 *77-55-0268* 244 Montrose Ave @ Bushwick Ave. Heavy Fire Throughout Multiple Private Dwellings in East Williamsburg, Brooklyn. 1/14/21
    New York City Fire Department Units Responded to 244 Montrose Ave Around 6:10pm to Reports of Fire on the Top Floor, With Multiple Calls Coming in The Box was Loaded Up. On Arrival Members Had a Fire on the Top Floor of a 3 Story Private Dwelling and the 10-75 (Working Fire Signal) was Transmitted with an All Hands Signal. As Members Now Had Heavy Fire Throughout the Top Floors, the 2nd Alarm was Transmitted and With Fire now Spreading to Multiple Exposures a 3rd Alarm was Transmitted Shortly After. As the Fire Spread Drastically and Moved Quickly, the 4th Alarm was Transmitted with the 5th Alarm Being Transmitted After a Collapse in Exposure 3. After Nearly 4 Hours of Firefighters Operating On Scene, Multiple Tower Ladders and Hand Lines in Operation, the Incident was Placed Under Control Around 10pm Later That Night. No Injuries were Reported and The Cause of the Fire is Under Investigation.

    That was a Pretty cool shot that you got. At the A side with the arial and tower trucks extended to the roof. Heavy smoke, the illumination of the fire in the background and the firefighters flashlight beams illuminating the smoke. That would make for a pretty cool still shot.
