Love the BBQ up on the hill at the Old Town Saloon, and the 1/4 lb Chili Dogs at the Riverside are the best I've come across. Boat rides up/down the crystal clear Colorado river, also fly to Vegas, rent a car and drive down to Laughlin, a favorite place to spend time, if they could only turn the heat down in the summer. It will take your breath away coming out of air conditioned casino to street when it's over 105 degrees. Nice walk through town enjoying the sights. Highly recommend visiting.
For anyone wondering, if they had kept filming on the road past Harrahs, you would have driven past the sprawling Laughlin family estate, the skeleton of a casino that was never finished and the remnants of its long closed golf course. Eventually the road ends in a T. If you go left at the T, you will reach the turnoff for the Avi resort after a couple of miles.
Beautiful video! What a great day to video! My Dad and I walked from the Harrah's to the Riverside several years ago before my car accident. Anyone know how many miles that is?? We loved Laughlin! I hope to visit in July! Harrah's is very helpful with Scooters for handicapped guests! The water taxis are too!
