Laughlin is GREAT!!! No traffic, cheap prices, the river is beautiful, and is way more laid back than the chaos that is Vegas. Great for adults without kids. Very relaxing.
Hello! I stayed at the Pioneer in the last year or so. I agree with your take on the property! The room was basic but clean. The hotel is a really good value and I love Laughlin!
I’ve stayed at all of the hotels before as used to come multiple times in the summer for vacation. I liked the pioneer during busy times the best because we didn’t have to deal with an elevator full of people all trying to go to breakfast or to the water in the morning . So many times in the towers, we had to wait for several elevator trips to get down to the main floor. We finally found we had to go up all the way to be able to go down when crowded. Also the Pioneer had pet rooms and a short walk to the car in front of your room. Also we could easily park our boat and still be able to easily pull it out in the morning . Never had any issues with the room and budget friendly.
I stayed in room 204 , about 2 years ago and I liked it , I stayed at the others and they had dirty carpets and it smelled like mildew , so I like the pioneer and the wood floors . We always clean our rooms to our likening , and it works .
Was their just last week. Much better than a few years ago. Remolded the rooms. Ice might be iffy. The machinate outside at 115 plus degrees. Bring your own
I grew up here. The original Pioneer was neat. The Riverside Casino always had the free boat ride across the river from BHC where I technically grew up in. Well for all my life I was in Laughlin with my Grandma and Grandpa had a vacation home. When we would get on the boat, the big cowboy would move his arm to top his hat and would say Howdy Partner. My nest friend worked there for her first job. The original restaurant was a place we had dates ot because it was cheap and super good brownie Sundays. It was a romantic thing because they was huge and you shared feeding each other if you wanted. Also my good school friend was head chef for the restaurant you posted. The snack bar sold these huge chilli dogs that was so good! Oh The Bell was legendary! I was even there from the very beginning. My Grandma lost the house in 2015. The Bell and the Edgewater are the same ownership. The first Edgewater let us stay a very long time at almost free rates and kept are car right at the door for me and Grandma. We was both disabled. They was so nice about my dog too. The Bell let us stay too for weeks. I have so many nany OMG tales of the Bell. Even my first kiss. My grandma probably payed for these Casinos over her 20plus years probably 30 years there. Plus on the lake and the river. Growing up and and the old timers were called River Rats and Brats. They was such a different time there. There is a bridge that went behind the fam. It was dangerous. Many drunk drivers. Grandma got in a bad accident. But it was the only way to get to the casinos by car. Back in the day we would jump off that bridge. Now it's closed and now the marina is huge and you have to pay state parks fee of a million dollars. Harris Casino is pretty nice. If catch a special on one of the trip sites really nice place. My mom worked there for like 12 years. My first job was there. Still one of my favorite casinos. All you see now, the restaurants, the stores, nothing was there when I spent all my 20 plus years there. Laughlin/ Bullhead City was still smaller. Simpler. Only thing sucked was shopping for formal gowns and ECT.. We all drove to Vegas. To the malls. I saw the first Walmart to go in and the first Super Walmart come in In 89 when I fully moved there all we had was Kmart and TG&Y. And 2 grocery stores. Laughlin was a small strip. Other than some apartments nothing was there. But the Bell, it was special. So cool. It was where the local kids hung out! It had a all you can eat chicken and ribs restaurant. OMG it was good. And a huge snack bar. But all that changed over the years. The Bells foundation started cracking making get closer and closer to the river. And was to much to fix. They had just did a bunch of new stuff too. A new nightclub ECT. But it doesn't save it. I miss the river souch Enjoy it? I live in a high desert now and it's hot, but I don't miss the heat.
That is a great review. Honest & to the point. We stood at the Colorado belle 2 years ago & that was not the greatest experience. We had 2 different rooms due to the A/C not cooling & we got lost in a maze of halls that was ridiculous.
Thanks for the tour! I visited Laughlin once about a year ago, hoping to return again this August. I'll check out your other casino videos, thanks for sharing. Regards, Bergie @PlayBetterSlots
Discovered you, and have enjoyed your videos. I too live in Vegas (love it here!) I staycation but also love the quick and close excursions. Didn't get to go in spring due to a little surgery I had to have. So we'll be going in the fall. Will use your tips and suggestions to craft out getaway! Love the Storm Trooper!
Love your review. The pioneer is a little bit of an old Vegas style casino. The beach is a real attraction and the food in Bumbleberry flats is expensive but really good. The one thing I do not like is the exterior walks as people can look in your room. I always closed my curtains .
Thank you! I've been looking for "cheap" lodging within 90 minutes of Las Vegas for those times I just want to get out of town and see/do new things.. Seems there's Mesquite to the North(East) and Laughlin to the South(East) that meet that goal. So now I know about the New Pioneer but still need to find the cheapest in Mesquite
You forgot about the Golden Nugget the nightclub inside❤ you forgot about the great food❤ you forgot about the mall across the street❤ you forgot about the beautiful horse, racing the beautiful gambling on the slot machines the poker table sports book❤ you went to the worst casino on the strip❤ and there’s food in every direction❤
I stayed at the Aquarius , it's the wrost place to stay , the place is a rip off , the valet attendent are rude , the cafe food was cool, bread was stayal ,service was real ,real BAD. The rooms bed , looked like someone layed on it , before i used it .
You are way too excited about the Pioneer Laughlin. Your daughter could of joined you for 99 cent Steak & Eggs after Midnight, now $19.99. Best live Table Action for years, now it's 100% Slots. Rooms were always a BioHazard, just look at the Colorado Belle which will never open due to mold, bed bugs & filth
Thanks for watching. See you next week!

I have to say, appeared like a great place for $47. The room doesn't need to be glamorous. I would stay there. Thanks for sharing. 🙂
Definitely the least glamorous on the strip but I enjoyed it. Thanks for always supporting me 😊

Well said! It was much more manageable than the busier resorts
Great review! I’ll consider giving the Pioneer a try.

Dang looks like a great place for the price !!!👍👍
I haven't been to Pioneer in 30yrs , that was our go to place because the boat trailer parking. This bringing back alot of memories
I would need covered parking in that type of heat. nice they have river access, used to be only Harris had that
I stayed there in april. not a bad place, just wish they had a frig, blow dryer, microwave and coffee maker.
I really wanted a fridge…I didn’t notice the hair dryer. That can be a big deal if you need it

Love the Storm Trooper!
Fall is the perfect time to go! I hope you recover well
The cheapest room is that non renovated rooms. They're also fairly awful. The restaurant is actually a hidden gem at pioneer
The restaurant was the best

Awesome review girl!! Can’t wait to hit Vegas end of September. Going to Sphere. Woohoo. The river looked so beautiful and refreshing to sit in❤❤
I’ll just miss you…i need to get to the Spere, it looks amazing
We stayed there not glamorous but a place to sleep not a large cost
She called the wall sconce lights scones!!
I say things wrong sometimes…it annoys me to no end. I’ll say “world” instead of “word”

Hi Amy.. Thanks 🙂
What was the cost? I love the pioneer. It’s a great place to eat is good people there I like it.
Laughlin? In July? I only go between November to March.
You are smarter than me. It’s 121 today 🥵
scones are pastry. those lights are sconces. usefull vid tho.
Gotcha! I mess up words sometimes
Was there recently. Good place.staff was nice.
I should have mentioned that more..security was on top of things and the staff was so good!
Does it smell smoky?
My room didn’t but the casino a little bit
I’m not 80 😂Laughlin is like Vegas but slow, all the old people
I love the slower pace…Vegas overwhelms my senses
You forgot about the Golden Nugget the nightclub inside❤ you forgot about the great food❤ you forgot about the mall across the street❤ you forgot about the beautiful horse, racing the beautiful gambling on the slot machines the poker table sports book❤ you went to the worst casino on the strip❤ and there’s food in every direction❤
What was the cost?
I like her, she’s funny :)
Who knows what I’m going to say next 😂
The only problem with the Pioneer is they don’t have table games. I love to play blackjack
I have never learned how to play
I enjoyed the video. I've spent some time in Laughlin, and I do enjoy the Pioneer Casino and their restaraunt. Good Luck with our channel.
Thank you, I appreciate it
Only reason I’d go to Laughlin is if I had a jet ski lol
For real!
@@adventuresofaTangerine or if ur there and bring me good luck haha
@@SAsh-zg6ln I am so unlucky at the casino…I always lose
@@adventuresofaTangerine that makes two of us lol

The annoying part about your video is when you bent over and talk in front of the camera. You need to neither sit or stand up.
Laughlin is a dump
