Lovely. So scenic, picturesque, like some work of art. The fields are so lush and green and the streams of water are so fresh and clear. And its all so peaceful, relaxing it soothes the mind and body. Enjoyed watching this .......

This is by far one of my fave youtube videos about Bali, the place is indeed gorgeous, i didn't even know such place exists in Bali. Next time i'm in Bali, i'll come and check the place out. Thanks for sharing this video with us!
Bali. My favorite holiday spot. I'll be heading there on the 8th of next month... can't wait! It's actually the best time of the year to be in Bali now. It's less touristy, it's still dry but coming towards the raining season, I guess sometime later in Oct and Nov. And things are "rather cheaper" during these times. And yes, the view's breathtaking, even more so with your drone.
Everything is pretty unique in its own way. Bali has so much to offer; the culture, the landscape, the historical sites, the wonderful beaches, the people... they are all great in its own way. You guys are already killing it by just exploring Bali on your own. That’s exactly what I did. I rented a bike and just explore, stops whenever and where ever I want to. I particularly like culture and nature... so temples and natural open fields is what I’d opt for. I particularly like this one temple in Tampaksiring, Pura Gunung Kawi (Mount Kawi in Tampaksiring). However, I’d go in the evening between 4pm - 6pm. Not many people (as most come in the morning and noon), big temple ground, surrounding nature... to me, that’s just amazing. If there’s 1 thing I would definitely do when in Bali is staying with the locals... homestay, guesthouses. There are no better way to learn about Bali other than to stay with a Balinese (family etc) and let them immerse you with their culture once you get to know them. Nonetheless, you guys will definitely find great stuff while in Bali.
Hi ! Thank you so much for coming to Bali, Indonesia^^ hope your life will always filled with happiness and good health. Big Love❤️❤️❤️ And of course, Bali will always welcome you whenever you visit! 💕💖
Yes, the difference of bali among other SE Asia countries is the artistic detail and ornaments they have in any hotels, villas, etc.. They have every touch of culture combined with religious things over there..which make them unique.. 😍 Hope you'll enjoy your staying more and more everyday.. 💕 Love you contents so much! It's sooo insanely awesome..!
Thank you Gasi! 🙏 We are happy to have you as part of the DBV Fam and we agree, Bali is a special place. We truly love it here and have an entire month more to explore ☺️❤️
Lmao you’re comparing Bali to Southeast Asian countries when in reality Bali is only one island out of 17.000 others and one province out of 34 in the Republic of Indonesia 😂
@@danan2721 i think most ppl know bali is not a country (unlike in the 90s), but bali is so different to the rest of indonesia that they choose to speak bali as if it's a country to make it easier to talk about rather than have to say indonesia at the same time then need to clarify about bali specifically. anyway it's rude to criticize ppl about something not in the focus of their post
Ryan, I am always impressed with your b-roll! Stacia, your smile is the real gem for each video. I used to vlog with a5100 as well, I forgot how good it was. Keep it up, and enjoy my home country!
Hi Syifa! Thank you so much 🙏🏻 Filming and editing the broll is my favorite part of this whole RUclips thing. Well, that and reading comments like this from our awesome fans ❤️❤️❤️ The A5100, even though it’s old, it’s still my favorite camera for the talking parts of the vlog. It’s better than anything else out there in my opinion 👍🏻
Bali is a beautiful land. More beautiful with these two beautiful people on it. For slo-mo things, nothing beats scenic landscape with green green grass of paddy fields and paddy terraces and the mountain in the vicinity. And the mystic surrounding cultural land of Bali just add some enigmatic feeling. The mountain and the paddy field is a bit like Japan.
Wow! I have been to Bali, and I remember it being beautiful but the way you guys capture it through the lens is talent! I appreciate what you guys put together for us.
Thanks so much Bing ☺️❤️ It was so incredible to see and we were grateful to experience a place like this without any tourists around. Hope you are well!
Do try to explore candidasa area if u r attracted to less touristy places, they have awesome water temple next to Ashram Gandhi, spent 3 nights staying at the Ashram and feels like someone just hit the "reset" button inside my brain. One more thing, if u like Bintang, probably u should try El Diablo beer produced by Bali Hai beer company. It is not lager but an ale. 👍
i gotta say the video editing is superb...crystal clear and the spot you chose is awesome. one of the best i've seen so far.. keep doing what you are doing. you just got a new sub :)
Hey guys! First I'd like to start by saying thank you for all the great videos and sharing your lives with all of us. You're not only inspiring, but an absolute joy to watch. Seeing the chemistry between the two of you is so heartwarming, and just puts the biggest smile on my face. That being said, thank you for being real and for being yourselves. It's truly refreshing to see. I just recently came across one of your vlogs last week and I've been doing a Death By Vlog marathon ever since haha. You two are by far now my favorite to watch on a regular basis, so once again, THANK YOU!! Take good care of each other, and happy venturing. - Dimitri :)
Hey Dimitri! Welcome to the DBV Fam 🙏 We’re happy to hear you’re enjoying the videos and honestly this comment was pretty special to read. We always keep it real because travel isn’t easy and life isn’t always what people portray it to be on social media. So if something goes wrong we want to talk about it. Where are you from? @@DeathByVlog Thank you. It's definitely an honor to be a part of the DBV Fam. I'm actually watching your Chinese food challenge now, and I honestly haven't cried so hard from laughing in a long time! You two are hilarious 😂. I am from Petaluma, CA. Much love and respect, - Dimitri 🙏 Ok, sorry to all you other commenters down there I'll hush up now!! 😉
Haha that Chinese food challenge video was so much fun to make 🤣 Glad you got a laugh out of it. Musician? What instrument(s) do you play? I used to play the drums when I was younger. That’s awesome you are doing your best to travel and make it work. It can be hard to leave family and friends but the experiences of seeing new places is always amazing. Rock on man! I’m trying to get Stacia agree ok possibly living in Cali when we return to the states. Not sure if we can afford it though. I just need the constant great weather and beach. Venice or something similar sounds awesome 😊 If we ever make there we will definitely meet up with you 👍🏻
@@DeathByVlog Yeah, it can definitely get expensive living in Cali. However, since you guys love the warm weather and beach vibe, Venice or even the Sam Diego area would be a prime location for sure. As far as music goes, I play guitar, bass and a little keyboard. But I've been a drummer for the past 31 years now. I don't play as much as I used to only because food became more of a passion. I used to be a pretty heavy drinker back in the day touring with several different bands, but now I'm 4 years sober and picked up baking wedding and birthday cakes as a secondary hobby to keep myself busy on top of my current cooking. I'm assuming you don't have the time, but do you get the chance to beat on some drums every once in a while?.. Great stress reliever haha. So, yeah trying to start travelling more. Even if it's just in the states. True that it's hard to leave your comfort zone at home, leaving friends and family behind, but I'm very fortunate to have such a great amount of support from both sides so that of course makes it a little easier. So we'll see what happens. I figure I just gotta do it right!? That would be great fun to meet up with you guys at some point. I can only imagine how many people ask and want to connect with you, which I'm sure is flattering yet sometimes maybe a bit complicated, and or could be a bit too much at times. But hey, people adore you guys so take it all in. 😄 Also, thanks for being so kind and writing me back. I really wasn't trying to get you to respond. I just felt that it was necessary to acknowledge the fact that you have something very special, and that at least for me making my days that much better. Its definitely a pleasure being able to chat with you a little bit and to share what we love, what our passions and goals are. And you have the best music in your videos. It would be awesome if you could somehow put together a downloadable playlist of your personal favorite music that's featured in your videos. I'd definitely buy that in a heartbeat 😀. Ohhh, and Tshirts as well. Do you have any available for sale?
Enjoyed that video very much! Your villa looks amazing! Made me miss Bali and seriously makes me want to buy a ticket and leave cold Melbourne atm lol! Much love from @sikookai!
Probably one of the coolest places we have stayed on our trip. Such a different experience than the hotels and AirBnB. We didn’t know Melbourne got cold. Better check flights to Bali 😉 Just said hi on IG 👋🏻
Been thinking about visiting Sidemen on my next trip to Bali and your brilliant video clinched it. Just booked two nights at the Abian as well. My video won't be anywhere near as good as yours!! Keep up the great vids guys.
Isn't it so beautiful?! We got lucky too because the first day was perfectly clear so you could see the volcano... but the second day was cloudy and you'd never know it was back there!
Wow.. how green does it look... that's beautiful guys... hey Stacia.. I know you like your facts so they are irrigation channels you were walking in/around.. they use them like we use water pipes underground.. they need water? so they go up to the top as ask for more water to be released.. it's a very cool arrangement.
Awwh... am so happy that after your nightmare experience in Langkawi, you're now having an awesome time in my country. Your video popped up on my page so I just watched that one in Langkawi and this.
Hi guys, Nice video... Bali’s villages are similar to my country in Sri Lanka. I have a small suggestion; you could say canals instead rivers. Mostly canals built by human to direct rain and natural spring water streams mostly for irrigation and use of day today needs in villages. Rivers are very large in size comparing to canals and mostly naturally formed. That’s all for now guys. Keep it up the good work. Wish you all the very best for your future endeavors. :-D
We spent a few days in Candi Dasa and explored this area a little. You're right about hiring a local guide. There quite a few things to see but I didn't think the area was very easy to navigate. I was happy to be driven around.
That’s awesome!! We hear Candidasa is beautiful I’m pretty sure we drove right past it on the way northeast :) Glad to hear you guys had a good time ❤️
Hi up there guys! That place is beautiful and I am an admirer of nature especially Streams flowing. The Philippines too has a rice terraces like the location where you are. It is located in steep side of the High mountains. Be careful of snakes. Mother miss so much her baby girl ! 😇
DeathByVlog . . .Ryan and Stacia I hope you come back! I haven't visited places in the North yet, maybe one day I would include Batanes Island Rolling Hills, Babuyan Islands and other Places in the Northern Luzon.
Very nice footage, great job finding some of the off the beaten path places. I do like how you suggest getting a local guide, where not only you can get to some other places you might not find but also as you mentioned you are helping out a local somewhat financially.
there's so many beautiful hiden place all around indonesia, each province have landmark & beautiful places, if u guys have much time please visit another place/province all around indonesia.hope u guys have a great journey footage,so u can share with your family, friend and your grandchild in the future, keep safety & have a nice trip in indonesia..#sorryformybadenglish

bali is pretty island, many people visit this place, btw why u went to bali other side place?it's not general place people to visit, rivers, rice field terrace, agung mount view is wonderful, bali is bali "AWESOME"
I'm new to your Channel. A well-done video. I'll be checking out some of your other videos, and I'm sure they'll end up in my favorites playlist. Thanks, very inspiring.
Sidemen is more beautiful than tegallalang or jatiluwih .. but its not secred .. you should go to rumah pohon in karangasem .. the views of mount agung is realy good
Hey DBV! Normally I would write a story based comment full of bollocks that has nothing to do with the vlog itself. But since you said that this was your most magical experience since arriving in Bali, I will be on my best behaviour and write something about the vlog itself. So, without much ado, here goes... The place with the aqueducts and rice terraces is truly magical, straight out of a picture book. Your aerial photography is second to none and the editing is ç'est magnifique et excellent. Don’t be sad Stacia even if you have to leave this place because as Alexandra Stoddard has said, “When you leave a beautiful place, you carry it with you wherever you go” I have come to expect greatness from you and this vlog does not disappoint. It’s a visual and sensory experience for the mind. Well done guys! May I just add that Lady of the Golden Wood of Lothlórien, Galadriel has also cast an approving look on the two of you. She calls it (the place) heavenly devine and ethereal. She says time is of the essense that delay you mustn’t and begin your quest to seek The Children of Ilúvatar residing on the foothills of Mount Agung who will guide you to The One Ring, one of the most powerful artifacts ever created in Middle-earth. We bid you success on your arduous journey! Oh bollocks, I did it again... 😂
Thank you so much! Really appreciate that. I take my filmmaking seriously and want to produce vlogs that are higher quality than most other Vloggers 😊❤️
Woow,, that is amazing, next time if you come to bali again, don't forget to visit nort of bali, there is more emazing, you can combine your holiday between beach and trofical forest(rice padis)😎, will be nice to welcoming you in bali🙏

Been thinking about visiting Sidemen on my next trip to Bali and your brilliant video clinched it. Just booked two nights at the Abian as well. My video won't be anywhere near as good as yours!! Keep up the great vids guys.
Wow this place is so beautiful.
By far one of the most relaxing places we have stayed. It’s so gorgeous and peaceful 😊❤️
You can say Sidemen like local.. just like "see the man"..
Great shot btw.. & have a nice trip.
Thank you!!! 🙏 I’m happy to know how to pronounce the area now. It was so beautiful we can’t wait to visit again sometime ❤️
You're welcome.. You should visit Jatiluwih Rice Terrace for more beautiful spot. If you still in Bali of course..
I love these longer videos! 🤘🏾beautiful video guys!
Thanks Zaki! The longer ones are a bit more work but when there is content to share, I’m sticking to it 😊
hi guys! Ilove the view u can see the mountain in the background!

Hi Peter! Those aqueducts are awesome. And actually felt nice walking through the in the heat 😂
Nice view, nice editing, nice music and beautiful couple.
Thanks so much Kata! Appreciate the love 😊
Awwh... am so happy that after your nightmare experience in Langkawi, you're now having an awesome time in my country. Your video popped up on my page so I just watched that one in Langkawi and this.

Awesome Bro.. stunning! Love it.
thank you my brother for exploring to my country.....
Love Bali ❤️
Hi guys, Nice video... Bali’s villages are similar to my country in Sri Lanka. I have a small suggestion; you could say canals instead rivers. Mostly canals built by human to direct rain and natural spring water streams mostly for irrigation and use of day today needs in villages. Rivers are very large in size comparing to canals and mostly naturally formed.
That’s all for now guys. Keep it up the good work.
Wish you all the very best for your future endeavors. :-D
Come back here to the Philippines and visit Banawe Rice Terraces and Sagada and segway here in Baguio City.... :)
Hi Rich! Funny you mention that. Anther subscriber Jan just said the same thing. It's definitely on. our todo list 👍🏻

I love Mak Beng, last time i came there was long queue but it's totally worthy
We spent a few days in Candi Dasa and explored this area a little. You're right about hiring a local guide. There quite a few things to see but I didn't think the area was very easy to navigate. I was happy to be driven around.
That’s awesome!! We hear Candidasa is beautiful I’m pretty sure we drove right past it on the way northeast :) Glad to hear you guys had a good time ❤️
Top video guys hope you are both well take care and keep safe
Thank you!! 🙏 we are both so happy you enjoyed. Hope you have a good rest of your week ❤️
Hi up there guys!
That place is beautiful and I am an admirer of nature especially Streams flowing. The Philippines too has a rice terraces like the location where you are. It is located in steep side of the High mountains.
Be careful of snakes.
Mother miss so much her baby girl ! 😇
We hear the rice fields in the Philippines are amazing too. We will have to plan to visit one on our return trip 😊

Thanks! Yes, this place was so amazing and super peaceful ❤️❤️
Very nice footage, great job finding some of the off the beaten path places. I do like how you suggest getting a local guide, where not only you can get to some other places you might not find but also as you mentioned you are helping out a local somewhat financially.
So glad you enjoyed this one. It was one of our favorite days. Everywhere we looked was something beautiful to see. Stunning little town 😊😂

So glad to have you back!!! Haha yeah we’ve filmed a lot in the past few months. Maybe a DBV marathon is in your future 😂❤️ Have a good week!
Wellcome to my loving country, have good time 😍
Don’t be sad Stacia even if you have to leave this place because as Alexandra Stoddard has said, “When you leave a beautiful place, you carry it with you wherever you go”
I have come to expect greatness from you and this vlog does not disappoint.
Haha I got lost after the first paragraph 🤣🤣🤣
I am Indonesian, I don't even know this place, good job guys!
Thanks! This place was amazing. The little town is filled with culture and beautiful scenery! ❤️😊
