    I think he is possibly the Greatest Player , to grace the game of Football . Imagine if he had played abroad , at one of the Italian , or Spanish teams . They would have loved him . A winner , with the Heart of a Lion .

      John Charles the best (a true giant of the game and a contender for Britain's best ever) but Bremner more successful with Leeds, a great captain.

    What a great team Leeds utd were should have won a lot more but one way or another the football authorities would make things difficult for leeds, and the European cup final against Bayern munich what a scandal that was RIP BILLY BREMNER

    A scottish friend of mine asked me what I thought of Billy Bremner, I said that at the time I hated him. "Why is that English boy?'" he said. I replied that it was because he was never on my side.

    What a bunch of cloggers we've got here. My God. Bremner, Reaney, Hunter, Giles, Lorimer and Clarke. All that's missing is Madeley, the man who if he'd played for England as many times as he was picked, would have taken the record.
    Singlehanded, the reason why English football sank without trace in the 70's.

    • @billymorton4506
      @billymorton4506 7 лет назад +2

      Reaney a clogger? You don't know anything about football mate....and Clarke in yer list?

    • @michaeljenkins7024
      @michaeljenkins7024 6 лет назад +2

      Fucking hell you're an idiot. How many of those players even were qualified to play for England? And highlighting Madeley? Madeley was easily among the top five English players of all-time to pick for an England squad, because he was absolute quality at almost every outfield position.

    • @stephenhodgson3506
      @stephenhodgson3506 5 лет назад +3

      SoccertLimey rather than listening to morons like you I would rather listen to the managers and players of the time who all had an opinion exactly opposite to yours. Best said Reaney was the best full back he played against. Alf Ramsey said that if he hadn't have had Moore Hunter would have started every game. Madeley was described by Joe Mercer as the finest English defender he ever saw. see the pros actually know what they're talking about rather than those like you who regurgitate what the biased London press said at the time.

    Leeds, loved by themselves, hated by the whole country

    • @stephenhodgson3506
      @stephenhodgson3506 5 лет назад +4

      Really? hated by the London press and some fans of lesser teams. Listen to the comments of the managers of the time (with the exception of Clough) and since they all talk of their admiration of the side as do all but a few players. I would rather listen to the ex pros than a few whinging London journalists who were blind when their teams started dishing it out but readily jumped on the hate Leeds ban wagon when it suited them. During the mis 60's to mid 70's if it hadn't have been for Leeds their European trips would have been over by Christmas every year.

    • @michaelpower4372
      @michaelpower4372 Год назад

      Is that why Norman Hunter was voted first player of the year. By some of the country. The other teams hated playing leeds because they knew they would get a hiding. Especially the london clubs.

      No Peter Taylor, no party.

    • @stephenhodgson3506
      @stephenhodgson3506 5 лет назад +2

      Without Peter Taylor Clough was nothing but a big mouth when Taylor wasn't around Clough did nothing. Go away and have a look at the teams that Florest had to play in winning those European Cups and they had it easy. Clough wouldn't have got out of the group stages in the competition as it now stands. Clough a second rate player that no first division team was ever interested in signing and a second class manager without Taylor.

    • @michaelpower4372

      But he spend a lot of money to get those trophys at the time.
