"A coalition of progressive groups launched a campaign Monday to counter the power of the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC), opening up a new front in the domestic political battle over Israel and Gaza.
The “Reject AIPAC” coalition promises a seven-figure “electoral defense campaign” aimed at shoring up members of Congress who are targeted by the pro-Israel group. It also wants members of Congress to sign a pledge to not accept any more money from the organization - explicitly seeking to frame AIPAC in a similarly controversial light as the National Rifle Association (NRA)."

Any Middle East debate with a politician should start with the question "How much money did you accept from AIPAC".
That way people will know what kind of politician they are hearing.
All money should be stripped from politics. At bare minimum, all foreign lobby groups should be outlawed. No foreign interest should be allowed to buy our political system.

Why are we worried about Israel??? We are not Israeli citizens, we are US citizens.
Do you really believe that if we allow Israel to just continue doing what they're doing right now to the Palestinians that they'll stop there? We need to stop funding their war. I will agree with that part of this. We need to stop funding Israel's war. However we should not turn a blind eye to what Israel's government not the country present government is doing to the Palestinians and Gaza it's nothing but abhorrent.
They send billions of our dollars overseas, that's why I'm worried about it. Just this year.for example they plan to spend 100million and there's a 17 billion dollar funding bill waiting in Congress. I'd rather have health insurance

Why should the US be controlled by a foreign government? American tax payers monies should be for Americans, not to fund someone else's war! We need more peacemakers in office not warmongers. US should take the role of a peacemaker and take a neutral stance to resolve conflicts through diplomacy instead of helping to escalate conflicts.
