Yo, I got to 10 years, TEN YEARS my dawg!!! On one hand, it doesn't feel like a long time but when I pause and reflect, I realise just how much I've gone through and what it has taken to build my marriage to what it is now. It's upon these reflections that I soon came to understand why most men are tooooooo afraid to commit! Because as beautiful as marriage is, THIS THING WILL CHALLENGE THE KIND OF MAN YOU ARE, like for real, for real!!!!
You think you can love, you can protect, provide, LEAD, yoh hahaha YOU THINK YOU CAN LEAD, get married, you will be challenged to put these theories/ thoughts into action with real humans who are giving you real-time feedback and very intimately so, you are completely exposed. Though in all honestly this exposure is not to embarrass you, especially when you KNOW that your wife truly loves you and wants the best for you, this exposure is to bring out the giant in you, the greatness in you. It's cheesy to say, but gold is refined in fire, and that fire is your marriage, but fire cooks as well, fire gives warms and fire gives life, SOOOOO ITS NOT ALWAYS HARD!!!
