Even though it wasn't rated R, can we all appreciate that a Disney MCU production ACTUALLY adapted the Marvel Zombies comic book. The even got the teeth right and still made it creepy.

The cloak of levitation was thee most heroic character than any other heroes :P
in the last episode he sacrificed himself to stop the evil Dr. Strange

This episode definitely screams Halloween all over it, but that beginning with Zombie Tony, Strange, and Wong is one scary way to start off this episode right.

My favorite part was seeing Bucky have the shield like in the comics, he might not of had all the weapons or the cool edgy metallic suit, but it was still awesome. Buckycap can lead new survivors in Marvel Zombies spinoff.

@@antoniowarner1633 didn't see him die actually just him thrown a very far distance by Wanda which if you saw the first captain America this isn't the first time he's fallen/thrown from a far distance and survive maybe they follow up this story in a what if season 2
I saw Episode it was Great and Sad but Bucky was Thrown by Zombie Scarlett Witch I think he well survive Fall he have the Shield I Hope they Make Part 2 but anyway Bruce banner got bit I know Hulk save him but Hulk bit too it means Hulk well turn into a zombie but one thing Happen Thor and Zombie Black Widow they not Appear in the Episode

The "Heavy sleeper" joke is more likely in reference to bucky being a sleeper agent.
Sleeper Agents are undercover agents that wait to be activated already in the place they need to be activated, Bucky was just a straight up Assassin

My favorite easter egg is the fact that hank pym has become the biggest avenger killer both episode three and this one

Yet, in episode 3. That was before Ultron was made and in this episode, after Ultron.
I meant in this universe and the avengers in general ultron only killed quick silver hank killed 5 avengers in episode 3 and caused the deaths of nearly all of them in this one and he could do be interesting to see what happens to hulk on the next zombies episode
Not only that, he also created Ultron in the comics. He is really a d-head!

This was such a crazy and dark "What If...?" episode, especially since we got freaking Marvel zombies.

It wasnt confirmed that Bucky got infected, he just went flying in the air. He fell from planes and survived. PLEASE MAKE THIS A SPIN OFF
yea cause the witch pushed him pretty far, so maybe out of the zombie range. also, he had the shield, which he is start enough to use to break his fall. (cap did this in winter soldier)

We do have Zombie Thanos to worry about still....

A nod to the original zombie comics you missed was that, in the comics, Black Panther was also kept alive while being eaten for weeks by Hank Pym. In the show they captured that horrifying moment with Vision slowly feeding Panther to the Scarlet Witch.
That might be second episode where Chadwick voices him before his death.

I really love these What If episodes. They continue to get better each week.
I just pray that the next episode is a Happy and Wholesome one. Hopefully it’s Party Thor.

Bucky is nicknamed "silent but deadly" in the opening montage? I thought he deserved better than being compared to a fart joke.
The silent but deadly fits him so much, it's so in character for him, I didn't even think of any fart joke.
Considering the trailer for What If featured loads of the characters already seen so far, Captain Carter, T'Challa's starlord and whatever the Gamora in Thano's armour is about, together doing a shot similar to the first Avengers, I'm willing to bet the last episode will bring heroes from all the universes to fight the zombie threat and zombie Thanos, as the destroyed New York shown in that trailer looks very similar to the one we see behind zombie Thanos.

As amazing as this episode was, they should have gone for the R rating and used the Marvel Zombies concept to its full gory and dark af glory. But Zombified Thanos was freaking badass, like maximum nightmare fuel
Too bad Disney is a Family company, otherwise this episode could have been more violent.
I’m okay with that. This is darker than anything I’d imagine from Marvel Studios, so they get some leeway.

Black Panther… My favorite character since I was a kid in the 70s…. And hearing Chadwick Boseman once again embodying the character leaves a lump in your throat and a hole in your heart…
I’d love to see them pick this up again with the Fox acquisitions involved as well. The ending to the original comic run is insanity.

You forgot that Danai Gurira who plays Okoye has experience with zombies thanks to the walking dead series.
You know Vision keeping T’Challa alive to feed Wanda reminded me of when in the comics Ant-Man also kept T’Challa alive to stave off his hunger to bad they didn’t mention that in this video.
this episode was SO DARK but as someone who loves horror it was so good. (my heart hurt for peter tho omfg🥺)
I think my favourite moment in the episode was the connection between Spider-Man and Wasp.

There’s an Easter egg that takes some thinking to figure out. In order for this plot to have worked, zombie Janet needed to have been communicating with Scott while masking the fact that she’s a zombie, similar to how Zombie Reed tricked Ultimate Reed.
There’s no way Zombie Thanos could’ve gotten the soul stone
He doesn't need it to go to another timeline, just the space stone theoretically
he was able to get the gem before he was a zombie
Does that mean he already sacrifice gamora for soul stone?

I'm pretty sure Happy's gauntlet is Tony's watch from the breakout scene in Civil War. It's kinda obvious if you look close enough.
I'm hoping that we get to revisit this what if world again! Marvel Zombies was the highlight of 2005 for me and this episode of what if is hands down the best one so far!
My Fav is Peter & Hope, Tony's Hand from Portal, Chadwick Bosmen Lines, Zombie Thanos Waiting🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯
Suprised no one picked up on the nanites that consumed the zombie Tony, Wong, Dr. Strange and the Black Order members in New York, which is a reference to the Marvel Zombies 3 issue.

I really wish Tom Holland returned as our beloved Spiderman, he literally worked in animated movies like Spies In Disguise and Onward. But Hudson Thames still sounds like a nice guy at heart. It's also funny we got Paul Rudd returning as Ant-Man, well as a beheaded character.
The closest reference to the comics is when bucky finds black panther with one leg and vision has been feeding it to wanda. Hank pym in the marvel zombie comics also did this to satiate his hunger to try and find a cure. I would recommend looking at it to understand completely

I dont know how Ironman got infected, I feel tony or Jarvis would have been smart enough to avoid zombies using the armour as protection somehow.
Yeah I don't get that either... It's not like standard zombies would be strong enough to rip off his armour, but at that point Jarvis no longer existed...

Ant Man's head with The Cloak of Levitation made me think of Al Gore in Futurama
The Zombie story line almost did make it into the live MCU. Before Robert Downey Jr signed on to do Captain America Civil War the plan for the third Captain America film was to feature the Zombie story line. When RDJ signed on to do the film they changed it to the Civil War story line.
what if Vision and Wanda never ending up together is an absolute point in time? like Christine's death in doc strange
That whole fixed point in time thing is total bs IMO. The movie Dr. Strange is proof that Christine doesn’t have to die. When watching that episode, I thought it was building up to the only way Christine could be saved was if Strange rewrote the timeline so that the two of them were never together, thus causing the MCU version of Dr. Strange.
Christine dying isn’t an absolute point in the main timeline, it’s an absolute point in the one where she actually dies, as it encourages Strange to travel the world and learn the mystic arts in that specific timeline.
Damn it! That’s the worst kind of What If!!!

2. NO GALACTUS, FANTASTIC 4, SILVER SURFER, MAGNETO, ETC

I can kinda understand Ironman getting infected (dunno how the zombies got past that armor) but how did thanos of all people get infected? I mean he had almost all the stones so he must’ve gotten one hell of a surprise attack that could actually get past his skin.
Probably got caught off guard. Pretty sure he didn’t even know what a zombie was. Maybe a zombie Avenger attacked him.

@@TheDCbiz looking back on the episode I think it was Doctor Strange. Thanos had every in infinity stone except the mind stone. My guess he fought Strange to obtain the time stone but got bit in the process.

Bucky sacrificing himself to let his friends eescape was the best thing for me . It gave me captain America vibe , Steve would have done the same even if it was impossible or not

I really hope they have another episode for the marvel zombies but I thought the episode was just going to be heroes and villains being infected and eating the normal depowered humans instead of superpowered and nonpowered being infected

Last one... About zombie Thanos having the gauntlet.... The stones can't open transuniversal rifts. It won't work outside or affect anything outside its home universe and directly attached dimensions. Even some of THOSE nullify them (TVA HQ, Magiks Limbo realm, Mephistos realm)
also the scene where bucky finds black panther on the table with his leg missing is a nod to when antman in the comics kept black panther alive to slowly eat him

1: I LOVE ZOMBIES SO HELL YEAH THIS IS AWESOME FOR ME
2: I have no words for Peter’s movie (especially the hygiene scene) other than LMAO
3: I got no idea what happened to Bucky- he may’ve died from fall damage or survived but idk

In the comics Reid Richards is the one who goes crazy instead of vision. And Vision references to the comics when he talks about Wanda having HUNGER
