Brings back memories-I had an identical car back in 1970. By the way: the noun, 'the practice', is with a 'c'. The verb 'to practise' is with an 's' :-)
Good evening mate, I saw you on the M4 motorway on Sunday, I did wave but I’m not sure you saw and I lost you around Cheltenham. I’m also looking to get an MG now I’ve finished restoring the TR6, which you’ve been most helpful with your videos on. Thanks T
unfortunately not me. the MG is around 80 miles north of there and only ever sees the road to drive to the local petrol station. you probably made someones day with the wave though :-) thanks for watching. come say Hi if your ever at one of the sprints or hillclimbs
@@mgmidget-thebirthofaraceca4349 Haha, that’s funny I guess I must have confused him! I thought I saw you in a BMW, mind you if you were taking a midget on the motorways i do really respect that bravery. I’m also about 80 miles north near Newport in Shropshire so you might even be around donnington too! Take care T
It would be cool if you could overlay your mph, rpm and current gear in the track footage. Looks like a real fun course. What’s your max RPM? Stock 5500?
I'm really enjoying your videos. Love the track walk, the commentary and your great job of editing. Question: I'm hearing that the Sparco Sprints (correct?) aren't comfortable for longish drives. What do you think?
thanks for the positive feedback. i wouldnt want to do much more than 20-30 miles in them if im being honest but for racing theyre great and a good fit for the midget
Great video. The track walk is very useful as I am having my first Harewood 😮 on 27/8/23 in my 1959 TR3a !!
Glad it was helpful!
Very. Just finished the event 1st in class with 72.88 and beat a tr7v8 🍾
Oh well done! great job

Thanks for watching John. English grammar fail noted :-)

What a lovely course! In Ohio, the racing isn't as localized as it is over there, which makes it hard to start racing.
Yes it is one of the best we have. One of the longest too

Yep agree. Will look into it. Had it up at 6500 and it’s not gone bang yet….. thanks for watching
What does it cost to enter a thing like this in Merry Olde England? We have precious few hillclimbs in the States...
Varies but say $150 average. Cheapest form of motorsport you can get really. Thanks for watching
Did you change the rear end ratios and if so hat do you consider ideal for your car
experimented with a few diffs. The 4.2 is a good all rounder
It would be good to know what your results are for the meets you do
Noted. I rarely get a class result but the points against target times go to a championship standing. I’ll spend a bit more time explaining that 👍
