I was lucky to drive a mates nut and bolt restored midget was an absolute blast over 110Kph no complaints. I grew up with a Dad that had midgets, TRs was a beautiful experience to drive one as was from factory. What a great "platform" to make a custom from. Would love one with a 20b rotary and maybe some forced induction.
Is something catching, on that bumpy road test? On mine with the lower profile trackday tyres on (same 175/60R13 A539s as you), the front of the anti tramp bars can hit the road on bumps or in compressions. Probably not an issue on smooth track tarmac, but something to watch out for. The car’s looking good for the forthcoming season, though!
Emma, this has to be the most well observed comment I’ve ever had. You are exactly right and happened to be on that exact bit of video. Well spotted. The roads on Cannock chase weren’t the best but I’m sure it’ll be just fine on the tracks. As a first run out the snagging list was long!!! Thanks for watching and all your great comments as always 👍
Loving the revised version Martin. That engine is impressive the way it revs up. I must pick your brain when it comes to mine
Happy to Nathan. stay in touch
Looks great! Loving the new version
Thanks Thomas, thanks for watching

Great input. My dad had an MGB. Maybe that’ll be next - I quite fancy a hot GT Thanks for watching.

Where did you buy the anti tramp bars please I don't see them listed on front line site. I've got the flat springs and panhard rod on already
Moss sell them aswell as other classic parts suppliers. Don’t think they are listed on the frontline site any more
I like the catch can, my Midget is not a racer, but I think it could benefit from a catch can
It’s an easy fit and if you look on a popular auction website they are very reasonable. Thank for watching
How you reducing your crankcase pressure?
Stile Cop the fast way!
Oh yes!
