I completely agree. A kendama is far superior to a fidget spinner and yoyo's are arguably superior to kendamas. (I hope that didn't upset anybody) Yoyos are the clear winner.

Some Guy I was just discussing this with a friend. A lot of yoyo channels are talking about spinners now, and I said "I hope all this talk about spinners in yoyo channels brings more attention to yoyos, hopefully changing over from a spinner craze to a yoyo craze".
But we determined that it wouldn't happen over the simple truth that yoyo generally requires standing, and people hate standing.

Lewys Cousins Yes, actually, they have been much more popular than they are now, namely in the late 1990s, like he said. We're not talking about whether or not there are people that can do awesome tricks and freestyles, that's obviously true, and the type of tricks that can be done now is obviously far more. But that's not what was said. Yoyos have never been more popular than during the HUGE fad run they had during the late 90s, much like the fidget spinners are enjoying now. Back then, you weren't cool if you didn't have a yoyo. Now, yeah, there are people that are really into yoyos and are really good with them, but that's far from the majority.
Even Kendama isn't as lame as fidget spinners. Where's the contest?

You can do the same things with a Yoyo you can do with the Kendama and more if you
A) Have the right Yoyo, and
B) Have the skill.
I won't deny the Kendama requires skill but I still find it rather lame.
BlackHawk185 tbh the kendama tricks on this channel aren't that good. Pros like Wyatt Bray and Dylan Westmorland are actually really impressive! (But I don't play yoyo, so I'm biased)
i think kendama is pretty cool. i requires skill, unlike the fidget spinners.
I would love to see you land a quad tap juggle late kenflip to bird on a yoyo. Kendama and yoyo are very different except for some string tricks

what is the most suitable yoyo that could do most basic & advance trick but stable both loop the loop & spinning longer trick without fail? I tried the Sage yoyo but I couldn't minimize the injury I got from the Sage yoyo while doing Loop the Loop.

If you wanna get maximum looping try the oracle out.
Fidget spinner tricks are basically "hey I can throw this thing and it'll stay spinning because of course it will" whereas I've done tricks for both, yoyo is harder and has more working parts

Completely agree. The "advanced" fidget spinner tricks are lame. Tops, disks (freesbies) Yo-yos and kedemas (and even simple ball and cup games like baleros) are always awesome.
