I've often used that bus station myself and taken the same journey your taken the only thing though i do think they could make the ticket machines quicker more straightforward and less of a procedure no doubt eventually this is the way most tickets will be purchased

Hi kevin try getting the metro to benidorm takes 1 hour from in alicante centre goes along the coast 2 singles cost 5.60 really nice journey alicante has got a great nightlife love it there👍

£3.88 to got benidorm is not bad I was there end of may I went from alicante to Benidorm to valencia, I booked my ticket from benidorm bus station paid till calpe sat at the back and stayed on till valencia, saved about 10 or 11 euros 😂

good question not sure but there is a person selling tickets at the stand normally.

Yes there are a couple of machines inside the terminal, and I think there's a couple more next to the bus stops.
I think you can pay on the bus, but beware it being sold out before you can get on. Also if you get an open return you need to go to the ticket office to get an allocated seat, or you may have to wait for the next bus.

a good 20 mins away......taxi was about 15 euros or 20.....cant remember exactly......theres a bus from the airport to that bus station scotsman was at in this vidjoe.
