Finding the time in retirement in my case. Thanks for the info. I have always been a bit flippent Over it as it seemed a strange thing to do. Now I know how it started, it becomes more interesting. Today I walked 7 miles plus coffee visit. Then continue with painting my garden walls.. Just stopped this evening at 9 pm. That's my day gone. Saturday out all-day with xyl. . Sunday is always at home nowadays as wife is a bit disabled and I am the carer. Hardly been on air since we last spoke. I did a demo to my niece from London a 15 year old Air cadet and wants to be a ham as she got hooked on CW when I spoke to a swiss station on the key. Hopefully will have another ham in the family. Bright Girl studying GCSE physics at the moment. Thanks for your input on Pota. Certainly interesting. Just realised we do have another ham in the family in Abingdon by Oxford plus his daughter's have a licence. But they gave it all up years ago. Cannot remember the call sign.. he is a doctorate in space science at Oxford. Now retired. We all met up in Wales last year. Good to meet them all again. He took the RAE when I did in 1968 as we all lived in Margate at the time.
Nice upload , I personally do pota alongside UKBOTA, WWFF, WAB etc and it combines nicely 👍 just a quick point Mike you mention about WAB being difficult due to there not being an app , there are several apps available, the one I use and prefer is memory map 👍😊

April works tirelessly for POTA in the UK. Really grateful for the work she does. Maybe get her in the log one day.
She is amazing
Great job. I have a pota not far from me.

I called CQ top of pen y fan. I never had one reply or from snowdon. Weekend would have been better probably.
Hi, What would happen if you turn up and activate the park and someone in another area of the park has already activated the park 😮.
Parks can be activated any number of times by any number of Activators
Go to the Pota Site and look at the Parks
OK thanks will check site.
Work ech other, on several bands and maybe even 2m.
@@mickeyred Thanks Mickey 👍
