Pit stops not working as expected in AMS2? - Here's why your pit strategy fails in Automobilista 2

Have you ever been in an Automobilista 2 race, thought you had setup your pit stop strategy perfectly, only to find during the race that you come in to the pits, and it goes wrong!? No tyres are changed, the wrong amount of fuel is put in your car etc.
I have fallen foul of this myself when taking part in Automobilista 2 races that have a mandatory pit stop, and it took me a while to figure out why AMS2 was always disqualifying me from races for not making when a pit stop, when I knew I had!

Thanks Marc, it is really annoying - screwed up a league race of mine last week, as I forgot to check (despite making this video! 😂)…Reiza should just make it so as the game “remembers” what you set it to, until you touch it again.

Yes, do practice - I’ve fallen foul of not setting up my pit stop strategy properly myself, and it’s the last thing you want to try and deal with live, during a race (although it’s also a good idea to get used to bringing up the pit strategy MFD when driving, and learning how to make changes, just in case).

Funnily enough, after watching your Mini tester the other night, I tested it today, and noticed the "Selected Pit Strategy" bug as well. I haven't been giving AMS2 a go recently, but your vid gave me the nudge...the Minis are good. Did a Doni Nat race in fog with a Pitstone, and it was great fun.
