Former Collins Engineer here. I really loved your overview of the HGS in this video. It's a fantastic product, and is probably one of the favorite things I've worked on in my career. I'm glad you like it too.
Just found your channel and I love it. I never followed my dream to become a pilot and fly for a major airline. Now I am too old so love watching these types of videos. The graphics and simulations that you add kick your channel up to the next level. Thank you!
450 subscribers???? You had to have just started. As a guy getting ready to do this for career 2.0, I enjoyed this video more than anything else I’ve found on RUclips. Really hope you keep making videos.
Great video! And fantastic editing. I really liked the simulator footage. I haven't seen that from any other pilots vlog's. It really adds a lot. Please keep the videos coming!
Great vloging style, hope to see more videos like this in the future, as a pilot and soon to be instruments rated it is very much appreciated the simulation fotage as well as the arrival and departures charts, you got yourself a new follower ...!!!
Hey Captain. I just came across your videos and really enjoyed them. You put a new perspective on vlogging from a Captain's point of view, and I think it's very effective. Great job.👍✈️
I enjoyed your vlog very much and even more so that you are an Alaska Airlines pilot flying the 800s. my fav is the 700s, My stepdad was the station manager working with the '60s, '70s & '80s in Southeast Alaska and including Sitka and my dad was the original airport manager when Sitka opened the new airport then he was a freight crew for Alaska Airlines working with 727-100s and ferry the freight from the airport to Sitka using the army Duck. I flew a lot with the 727-100s and 737-200s in the 80s working for Alaska State Troopers. Keep up the good work.
Love your channel!! When you hit 500k remember I was one of your first 500 subscribers! Great footage, excellent editing. Love to see the inside view of your very cool job. Blue skies cap!
Just discovered your channel, love your content! I especially enjoy the flight simulator visuals, showing off the HUD, and banter between you and the FO. I am definitely subscribing and hope your channel grows well!
Your channel popped up in my suggestion list and happy that it did. I fly the 737 in the PC simulator as a virtual pilot, so interesting to see the flight deck from the real world perspective. Looking forward to future flight/trip reports!
Great video! Looking forward to seeing more content from this page. As an aspiring airline pilot I appreciate the simulator shots explaining arrival and departure procedures.
You got a new subscriber. Am about to start flight school in May and I love watching videos of other people on the job already. This is the best job in the world. Awesome video btw🤝❤
good morning Pilot Life…. i’m wondering if you would do both anchorage and fairbanks flights down the road ? im very interested to know and let you know that is an awesome videotape you made and will look forward to see more videos from you soon when you have a chance ..: stay safe wherever you fly to and do well
Woo found your channel recently. Love your videos. Do you have some helpful tips for fearful flyers. Mainly regarding take off and landings. I fear that the pilot doesn't get the right angle of attack.
Not sure that mood lighting enhances the response to the food. As for the seat I doubt that was a new problem and perhaps its cheaper to dish out miles and a bottle of champagne than fix it. In my opinion, even if traveling with a companion, you should have changed. There is little interaction with other passengers in the herringbone configuration and if someone on staff travel gets to learn about crew reporting out of service equipment being an important task so much the better. I used to fly Upper a lot. Not sure the Delta merger has helped things.

I’ve flown the 737 CL and I’d love to fly the MAX. I’m flying the EMBRAER 195 (E1 & E2) in Brazil.
Nice video editing/mixing and B-roll content. It must have taken a lot of work.
