Hello! Thank you for your so very helpful video! I have a problem tho, after the creation of the paths, the file is extremely laggy. Do you have any idea why this is happening?
how you work with solid element operation when showing existent plan, demolition, and new construction. I'm having problems with that because it shows all the holes in the mash. HELPPP please
Typically I create a duplicate of the existing mesh and put the new duplicate mesh onto a separate new layer "Proposed mesh" then only do the element operations to the proposed mesh. Hope that helps!
Hi, I'm stuck at 1:47. When I hit execute, the driveway completely disappears. I don't see the 'funky' top of the concrete; just the topo mesh. Thanks.
Hi Jeffrey, hmmmm, could be a few things. Just checking, the driveway was defiantly set as the "target", & the site mesh was set as the "operator", & the operation was set to "intersection". The sequencing can be a bit tricky sometimes.... If it's not that, I'd also make sure that your driveway mesh points are set higher than the highest contours on the topography (ground). e.g. if your topography(ground) high point is 12.000, make sure to set the driveway to at least 13.000. otherwise it might disappear below. In the 3D window I'd hit Ctrl+A ( select all) and check if the mesh is still there, but maybe just hidden under the Topography (ground) if it 's mesh points aren't high enough. Hope that's of some help. If you find the solution, please share so anyone else that might runs into it might find our trouble shooting. Cheers
I've also done a ton of solid element operations in this video below, hopefully it might be of some help with some extra examples ruclips.net/video/BhFd-EJifHI/видео.html Cheers
@@archguide Thanks for the response. I repeated the process exactly but am still unable to see the 'funky' top of concrete. I've tried various settings, but no luck so far. Cheers.

Very good

No worries!
Hello may be missing a step, when attempting to select the mesh as a target, ArchiCAD will not allow. Will only allow me to select as an operator.
