This was also my 100% reaction. I had played ZD a month or two before FW so that transition and goodbye to the world we had originally played in was so bitter sweet.
I still replay zero dawn and forbidden West whenever I get free time which is very rare these days but I live for these games bro! I was like a fish caught on a line when I started playing forbidden West, I couldn't break free as every moment of the game kept reeling me in😊
I keep coming back to this. It's arguably one of the best openings/cutscenes/music for a game ever. I have no words. I don't know when we'll see something like this again.
The music, the nostalgic scenery, the overall pressure you feel coming down on Aloy… it was incredible. It set the stage for FW unlike anything I’d seen up till then.
This entire game was a special experience. Because of how excited I was for it, and how much money I'd spent on my PS5 setup, and the special edition, I had set it up to disappoint me. And yet somehow 100 hours later, I was left mesmerised. This opening credits sequence was when I knew for sure that's how things were going to end up, though.
I’m a few hundred hours into the game and I’m still mesmerized. Guerrilla has crafted something truly special with this one. And yes, the credits were definitely an indicator for that! Oleksa and Ariana did a beautiful job.
i cried when I first saw it Nd now i am watching it again. the sad nostalgia o feel as Aloy rides towards the familiar locations. alone. she is the lonely savior
I absolutely loved the game awards orchestra performance of this song and how epic it sounded, much different from this version and I honestly prefer the TGA version but this is still great
The end credits version sends literal chills down my spine, but this is my absolute favorite PS5 game. Haven't been able to play lately though (no comment, sadly.....).
@@honest_cake Thank you. Unfortunately, gaming is on a standstill for me because a while back my PS5 controller crapped out on me. Haven't even told mom about it because the first thing she does is lecture me for breaking it instead of seeing that it's nobody's fault that things happen. 😡 Sorry - I had to let that out.

First they hit us with the Meridian nostalgia, then all the shots of the Sundom... Guerrilla's out here making my eyes sweat.

Prolly 2027
That song is so goddamn good.
Listening to it daily 😍
Big respect for recognizing all the visual queues from the first game :)
I was so surprised they featured so many locations from Zero Dawn. That cutscene was fan-service bliss.

Same here, that opening credits maked me speechless
After finally completing the game, it’s still one of the highlights for me!

Love this reaction.. the smile when you realise how beautiful the song is… put the pad down and enjoy…
Still one of the best surprises in the entire game, so beautiful.
this and fires of war are my two all time favorite songs from a game
I kid you not, I expect In The Flood to be top ten on my Spotify wrapped... I checked out Fires of War, thanks for mentioning it!
I started first time FW today then this scene came up I'm just speechless.
I still listen to this song on repeat. Makes me so nostalgic for that excitement back when the game finally dropped.
I cry every time I listen to this song
It makes me so nostalgic now. So good!
Gave me goosebumps
