It's really simple... Male or Female so even me a gay guy can understand that part of simple genetics.
If people will not compete against them they will stop this. I know it's hard to do for an athlete but it's the only way they'll stop
Yes it's difficult but not quite so difficult as it was for the farmers and tradesmen who enlisted in the Colonial army to fight the most powerful army in the world in order to be able to govern themselves. It was slightly more inconvenient to be out in the middle of winter without proper clothing or food with very little hope that they could even win the war that had been plodding along for four years.
Kind of puts things in perspective doesn't it?

I used to love watching the Olympics. Pretty much any event, no matter how obscure. I can't watch it anymore because of this crap (amongst other issues). Something I once loved, ruined by the infection of socio-political "correctness."

Aside from Thomas still having his male parts which don't belong in a female locker room, it's not so much about gender or sex.
If Arielle The Mermaid existed, she were perfectly female but it would still be ridiculous to let her swim against regular women.
I've been trying that for eons, that is, you guys ever notice how this is not an issue in men's sports? See how the way they chant "trans women are women" but we hear no such ridiculous zealotry as "trans men are men".. probably because it WILL get met with fierce opposition from normal biological men.
Last time I watched the Olympics was 1996 (I think - might have been earlier). I won't be watching this year, either. The coverage turned away from sports excellence decades ago.
Plus, NBC is providing coverage, so the majority will probably be on Peacock, which a lot of us won't have.
