WOW! Amazing finds and gorgeous location! My eyes bugged out of my head with the 5 pound xenolith! What a fantastic spot. Those gemmy beauties you got are 🔥 🔥 🔥!!!
Comments were turned off earlier. I did give it a like. Glad comments on now. I loooove that peridot. Sounded like a bunch of dwarves with hammers clanking on the rocks on the mountain side. That looks like a super fun way to spend an afternoon. Gorgeous views too. You're blessed with some fantastic areas to rockhound, buddy! Great video.
So stoked to see this! You are beyond lucky to be able to collect those, I am green with jealousy and it's not even as pretty a green, lol. You might be needing another machine, pal! Cheers!
I cant even watch Theos faceting videos, the urge would be too strong. Good thing about rocks, they dont spoil, so maybe when I retire... There are a few good spots up here for these greens
I knew a woman that did gem cutting and she once told me that green minerals are notorious for being brittle and called them The Green Meanies. Got yourself some really pretty pieces there.
I really enjoy your claim Dave, thanks for having me. Maybe if I am there with just you and the boys, I will make a better effort with my video. It is always sort of an after thought on a club trip. Xenomorphs indeed! Haha, yes, Xenoliths :)
Hey man I love your vids I am writing this to ask you if you have any suggestions on acquiring facet grade Canadian peridot? I've faceted chinese Peri., Pakistani Peri., and Arizona Peri. however I have yet to find anywhere/anyone how can source gem peridot in 2gr.+ sizes. I realise supply probably isnt your bag but I figured I'll take a shot just incase you have some or are in the know. So if you have any for sale or possibly know any claim holders i would very much appreciate a point in the right direction. Thanks and I hope to hear from you. Mike.

It was fun having you on the claim and hope to see you next season. They are called xenoliths, not nests, lol.

Mike.
Where abouts is this location in BC, I live in the Okanagan.
It is a private claim. All of my videos are. Lots of good stuff to find if you look!
@@Cliffwalkerrockhounding yeah you were saying something about a rockclub, may I ask which club?
@@michaelcorke7302 Absolutely. Vernon Lapidary club. Great place to start and they usually go to that claim once a year.
