"If it's shiny, it's coming home with me." You're singing MY SONG right there. Absolutely loved getting to know a little bit more about you -- thanks for sharing!
+Krystal Lynne It is one of many weaknesses when it comes to buying books! I really like doing these kinds of videos simply because they are a lot of fun to make. Glad you enjoyed it!
I recently placed my one of my pretty Anne of Green Gables collectors edition on the kitchen island and there was something sticky on the table, so when I picked it up, the cover art was ruined. My afternoon was ruined too! I can't wait to hear your book disaster story soon :) Great video, as always.
+Eternally Dreaming Of Libraries Thank you! I've sat down one of my books right in some syrup that was on the table before..it's never the same after that.
Great answers! I have no shame about my overly large and huge TBR either. Also if I see a book I like I just buy it as well. I have a lot of hardcovers but I prefer paperbacks for some reason although I admit hardcovers look great on a shelf. You have to do a video about that broken spine book!
+Treebranch Thank you! I see a lot of people trying to get their TBR down to zero and I just don't get it. I like having a lot of unread books around me. I see a book and I get it, I usually budget extra money into my book addiction for just that reason. There will be a video explaining what happened hopefully within the next couple of weeks.
I just found your channel and I really like it! I totally smell my books too, almost all of them... I think we've all ruined a book but I definitely want to see the disaster story!(:
+Rose Petal Reader Thank you, I"m glad you like my videos! I think everyone smells their books but are just too afraid to admit it :) I'm hoping to have the story of what happened out soon but it may end up being a little while depending on how crazy the end of this month gets.
Love this! I agree that when school assigns a book, it kills it. I actually liked the Everything Store, but having a due date on it really stole from the overall power of the book. I am glad I am not the only one that listens to audiobook in the car.
Sometimes audiobooks are the only way I can read books during the week. School kills reading for me, I even take very detailed notes whenever possible so I can stay away from the textbooks too.
I remember when I dropped my copy of Goblet of Fire. The spine broke immediately, just cracked in half, and now it's wonky :( I'm definitely interested in hearing the disaster story!!
+Seduced by Novellas I should have something up explaining the story here before too long. I used to be an expert at dropping books, they were the only thing I seemed to ever drop for some reason.
It's not a fun time, I feel you there. I've started wearing in ear headphones that aren't connected to anything so people don't get upset if I don't hear them the first time. Works like a charm!
this is definitely the best random video suggested to me by youtube. Loved the video sir. :P I can't read with people talking either, unless it's the fiance... then for some reason I'm pro at tuning it out... err... don't tell I said that... I also had a very similar bookmark (in that it was one I've had for a long time) but it went AWOL last week :( So cherish it sir, the bond between reader and bookmark is sacred. lol
Thank you! I actually did lose my bookmark for about 2 months and thought it lost forever so there is still hope : ) I think RUclips has made their recommendations better because I've found so many videos I've really liked through their recommendations lately.
I'll be making one about it here soon, I'm a procrastinating master and am not quite prepared for a trip I'm about to take so I've been scrambling around like crazy getting ready.
I've no idea how people can read with talking going on - it distracts me so much! I'm fortunate enough I can read in a moving vehicle, get lots of reading done on the way to work :)
+CravingBooks Yes! I was actually at my favorite used bookstore earlier today and there were people everywhere with their noses in the books. It was like a mini convention
I was born with a reading list I will never finish - Jane Austen Reading stops my motion sickness. I'm a cover/ title buyer. Please check out my 25 bookish facts video. (I mean if you want to of course)

Great video! Nice learning more about you!
+Elizabeth Book Babble (Book Babble Reviews) Thank you!

I can't read either when I'm in a moving car, and I love having a big TBR as well .
It is the worst, I wish I had that superpower. I am very thankful for audiobooks in those situations.
I like listening to audiobooks in the car too! I can't read in moving vehicles either. I get so sick! I wish I could.
Same here, that is an ability I really want to have. Audiobooks are fantastic, especially if the narrator is really into it!
This was very interesting! Love your videos! :D
+Leila Luqman Thank you, glad you enjoy them!!

Oh I know that shame of not taking care of books! Used to be me too. My favorite books are all wrecked. lol!
+BohoFae I am very protective of my books now though! My older ones are definitely in bad shape.
LOL I'm a book sniffer as well! One friend refuses to go book shopping with me because of it.
One of the best things ever is to walk into a used book store, hits you as soon as you walk in the door.
I remember when I dropped my copy of Goblet of Fire. The spine broke immediately, just cracked in half, and now it's wonky :( I'm definitely interested in hearing the disaster story!!

+ReadingRejects that was the one and only time I've ever dropped a hardback. I drop paperbacks all the time.
Holy crap I was born partially deaf as well. I know what you mean about not hearing people when reading.

I also cannot read in a moving vehicle. it's quite sad
+pickleheartsbooks It is sad, we could get so much more accomplished if we could! I do use audio books so I guess that could make up for it.
Please do a video to tell a story about what that person did to your book.
I'll be making one about it here soon, I'm a procrastinating master and am not quite prepared for a trip I'm about to take so I've been scrambling around like crazy getting ready.
I can't stand it when I'm reading and my husband starts talking to me . I'm like what I'm in the middle of a chapter lol
Exactly, why can't everyone just leave us alone when we're in the middle of a book lol
lol yea only people i don't mind stop for are my kids .
I've no idea how people can read with talking going on - it distracts me so much! I'm fortunate enough I can read in a moving vehicle, get lots of reading done on the way to work :)
+Reading to Life Hopefully not driving on the way to work...lol
hehe, I can't drive so rely on the bus :)
I'm right with you on the inability to read in a moving vehicle, to those people who can do this I have one thing to say, WITCHCRAFT!!!
+The Angry Librarian It really is, there is no other possible explanation...I need to learn how it is done NOW!!!
Book sniffers unite!
+CravingBooks Yes! I was actually at my favorite used bookstore earlier today and there were people everywhere with their noses in the books. It was like a mini convention
