- Dynam's rendition of the famous, first American dedicated night-fighter. We think they did a great job for the money. This also happens to be the plane that Steve's Uncle Jerry worked on during World War II, so it hold a special place in our hearts. This one's for you Unca Juh!

Great video Steve and lovely Denise!!! You guys are great and love seeing you making vids again. Thanks so much Steve for the great T-shirts and I will wear it proudly. Hope to have you guys back on FLIGHT CLUB soon to catch up. Thanks for sharing 👊🏼👊🏼💥👊🏼🔥🔥
As common thoughts abound... Miss seeing your vids.. Good to see and renew the joy..!
MrCocg1 Thanks man! We actually missed making them, too- I was just watching a couple of our old ones- memories of fun!
Good to see you back flying! Your return to video's coincided almost exactly with my hawkfighter loosing its fight with a tree! No reinforcement was going to help with that accident!!
Mark Dawes As Charlie Brown would say, AAAAARRRGH! Trees are not your friends! They are Foam Magnets, and they work very well. Luckily for me, every time I tree a plane too far up to get, a big windstorm blows it down by the next day- no kidding!
Glad to see Y'all back! Sorry about your Uncle Jerry!😇
Thanks so much
Interesting airplane. R.I.P. uncle Jerry.
Jerry Willfong It IS a cool plane- they have one in the hangar at the Smithsonian at Dulles Airport (I think it’s Dulles- it’s where the Enola Gay is too) And it’s BIG!
Sorry for your loss I’m really liking this airframe
winner wolf Thanks- and he’s up in heaven watching DVD’s, so he’s doing OK. And he would have LOVED this Dynam P-61, too-
You guys have some of the coolest stuff.
Thanks Andy! We love your vids too!
Nice....... keep posting videos...... greetings from Colombia,
rrene gadoo Thanks! And Greetings from New Paltz!
R I. P. UNCLE GERRY. THE BLACK WIDOW IS A VERY COOL PLANE AND YOU FLEW IT AWESOME STEVE AND I ALWAYS LAUGH MY CRASH OFF. LEARNED HOW TO DO THAT FROM YOU😁😁😁
It's a heck of a lot more fun than crying! LOL!
Great vid, makes me wanna buy one.
If ya haven't go check out the real stories of the P-61, they are fascinating and chilling. The Black Widow it certainly was.
My Uncle Jerry was a ground radar tech for the P-61s (they had radar in the plane, and radar sets on the ground guiding them) One night, they lined up their P-61 behind an enemy plane with a radar approach. Just as the P- 61 got into firing position, the ground radar picked up a second Japanese fighter dropping in behind the P-61. From the ground radar set, they radioed up to their Black Widow, who promptly pulled an Immelmann as the second Japanese fighter fired- shooting down his own wingman. The P-61 Immelman’d into a loop, dropped in behind the second plane, and shot him down. Uncle Jerry loved telling that story, because they assisted in the “double kill” that got credited to their guy for shooting down one plane. True story! (According to Unca Juh)
would love to see this plane in a 1700mm version
Great to see y’all doing videos again. I really enjoyed watching y’all on the Flight Club live stream last week.
Dennis Farley Thanks, Dennis- it was fun! Got a call from Jeff, and suddenly we were on live. We gotta get a writer!
Did you know they have a new color for this plane?
Do they?
GLOSS black, right?
@@Killerplanes green camo color
But the wings aren't supposed drupe like that though?
Tomasina Covell I think I may have overstraightened the center section- we drilled 4 more Carbon FIber tubes straight through. I’ll live!
Missed seeing you and Denise. Welcome back to the flight line!
We missed you too! Thank you SO MUCH! : D
Awesome ! Good for the Soul to see you guys back ! Hey Jerry !
pointnozzleaway Thanks! And you knew Jerry too?
@@Killerplanes through You guys !
Great to be back with all of you terrific people!!
Specfic..Pacfic 😂😂😂 rip uncle Jerry
I wanna see her fly it.
Tomasina Covell I want to see her fly them, too- maybe if you guys write a little bigger, she’ll see it...
Uh, Denise here. You do NOT want to see me fly it because I will CRASH it! LOL!
5:50 that explosion startled me. Comments should have link for where I can buy this!
Patrick Coston I said, honey, can I hold the plane? And she BLEW MY HAND OFF! Blood all over the place!
Getting that link up there for where you can buy the plane!! I guess we should have put a warning before the explosion!
Nice to see you back with these great videos sir!!
Thank you! And so nice to be back!
Can those top cannons shoot the tail and the propellers in the real plane?
Maybe- but the gunner sitting right behind the pilot faced forward, so maybe not. They were trainable, though. I was going to hook this turret up to a pair of servos to do that, but then I realized you couldn’t see it from the ground-
I'm still flying and crashing the me262 you reinforced for me several years ago. It just bounces and no real damage
jetthelooter I do love hearing that! (The part about no real damage) I love stuff that works, even if I have to design it myself
Hello Steve n Denise .I kinda like it. The way it flies, looks like it needs more power?
AirHammer RC It’s got plenty of power, and it’s designed to be more of a scale flyer. Of course, I may just get a hankerin to put in a pair of FMS fighter motors...
