I absolutely love the fact that there isn't a 75 inch screen in there. Just big enough and simple to use, perfect. I cannot stand those massive pointless screens.
Great review! I used to have a Yukon Denali XL (an older model) and I would personally prefer this Denali over the Tahoe Premier and Escalade. The Tahoe Premiere does not seem as luxurious as the Yukon Denali because the Yukon Denali’s display is integrated in the dash, and the exterior looks a lot nicer in my opinion. Overall, I would choose the Yukon Denali over the Escalade and Tahoe.
My goodness, GMC SUV's are getting out of hand expensive. Great review, gorgeous Yukon. Incredible luxury.

I just traded my z71 Tahoe I got last year for this one and I’m so glad I did. I love my new Yukon so much.
Having to option on adaptive cruise control on the high end model is unacceptable. Hyundais that cost a quarter of this have it standard.
The Hyundai also doesn’t have the level of quality. The cost of high end vehicles is not blind spot monitor or ventilated seats…you’re paying for quality, power and other bits of attention to detail you won’t get on a low end or mainstream vehicle

Very true. GM has a thing against ACC because it wasn't even available on the new for 2019 full-size trucks until recently. My old 2016 Ram 3500 had ACC. I get that they're full steam ahead on Super Cruise, but it is unacceptable for a $80K+ vehicle to have optional ACC.

Anyone whose argument is “a 24k Hyundai has it” obviously has not driven a high end car… the high end car is getting you things and the feel that no low end 24k car will get you, regardless if that car has 1 option that the other isn’t giving you.
@Yes Sir I’m not referring to General Motors I’m referring to the price tag. Any vehicle that you’re paying that amount of money you’re not paying 80k just for lane keep assist. Broke people are always whining about high end car prices and using “my Nissan has [insert any option] for 25k and this 80k doesn’t have it” as an argument for comparing price tags.
You should review every make and model. This was the most thorough review I’ve ever watched. You’ve convinced me to spend $90k on a new yukon!

Drove my Yukon for 188,000 miles with only one repair, the fuel pump at 12,000 miles. Top condition when I sold it.
Bet it was an 06 or earlier. The 07 and up are junk
I’d personally say I’d pay for a Yukon over a Tahoe (provided the money was there lol) but considering how good this is, I wouldn’t upgrade to an Escalade as I think the Yukon looks better! Great review and I love the new intro!😸😸

Surprisingly the escalade and the yukon denali are the same vehicle. Same chastise, same Frame, almost the same of everything. The only thing that is different is the name, the brand, and the make.

Good looking vehicle but I’d prefer the 18 inch wheels for ride comfort and functionality. Maybe 20s would be ok, but the obsession with big wheels has never made much sense to me.
Me neither. Worse mileage and worse ride.
I kind of prefer the Tahoe interior more - in specific the way the screen is placed.
I love the Yukon (regardless if it's a gas or a diesel) a lot.

i remember in 2009 when they came out of bankruptcy they offered 100k warranty on all there truck and cars then they dropped it to 60,000 they claimed no body wanted it they said people cared more about style then warranty, typical Goverment motors...
Sounds like a *hater* to me. Complaining about the warranty of a truck you *don’t* own, probably can’t even afford, and don’t ever intend to buy. They epitome of a *troll.* The warranty apparently is sufficient for the product as people are buying them and previous generations are still on the road running strong obviously operating _outside_ that manufacturer’s initial 36k mile bumper-to-bumper warranties.

I always loved the Yukon Denali, it's not too common and basic as a Chevy Tahoe, but not too expensive and flashy as the Escalade. It's the perfect middle spot, between luxury and common use.

I ordered mine a few weeks ago and was told today they aren’t offering the media system … is that correct? I can’t imagine for the price they wouldn’t offer that.
Depending on the time you order, various options become available or disappear due to the chip shortage. So it's entirely possible, though disappointing

I've always thought that the Yukon Denali was the sweet spot for the GM triplets. This model really shows it. It picks up where the last-gen Escalade left off, but even better. I think this is a far better purchase in terms of value than the Cadillac, and a much better buy in terms of luxury than the Tahoe High Country, which is just a couple thousand difference in price.
Yes, you can get a MB GLS 450 or BMX X7 40i for the same price, but it will have less power, fewer amenities, less space, and less capability, with worse resale value.
That said, buyers are left with a choice: Do you pay the $85K for a nearly loaded Yukon Denali(still can go to nearly $90K) or do you purchase the base Escalade, Series I Grand Wagoneer, or Navigator? Hmmm...
@Yes Sir The Germans will NOT kill this in amenities for $85K. In fact, the interior will likely have more plastic covered surfaces(dash, door uppers), etc. The GLS will have vinyl seating surfaces. The BMW's infotainment will be lagging. Furthermore their 3rd row seats are a joke compared to this. Sure, they may be somewhat more dynamically capable, but that is by sheer virtue of both the MB and BMW being significantly smaller.
I'd also take this tried and true V8 over the 6cyls that that those rivsls offer at this price.

If you’re already approaching $80k on the Yukon, it would be stupid to not just go ahead and get the Escalade. The Jeep is ugly and the navigator looks like it’s made for old women

@@ZmannR2 but not everyone wants the garish style of the Escalade, nor the increased cost of ownership(maintenance and insurance). Plus, a base Escalade is a worse purchase in features than this Yukon. As for the Jeep, I find it cool to be sqaure...
What’s the song you have in the background?
Don’t want to poop on this video but you’ll be stunned to learn what the factory can’t fulfill. For example, forget about 4-way lumbar. They haven’t done that for over a year. Air suspension is also a good luck proposition. Your dealer will tell you what you can and can’t get and some options are only available when chipsets are ready to go.
Hopefully they offer the option to disable adaptive cruise control and run normal cruise control. I’m not a fan of my vehicle braking to maintain distance behind another vehicle. Kills gas mileage and brake pad and rotors.

You can turn the adaptive cruise off and use as basic cruise
Wish they had moved the air vents in the dash under the screen. It dangerous trying to see your scene and you have to look down to see it

My wife has one of these as a demo,and it's a beautiful vehicle with that being said, the brakes are absolutely unsafe there's absolutely no stopping power, the Denali has just rolled over 2500 miles,also the engine ticks like crazy almost sounds like lifter noise? Other than those two things it's all luxury, l would not recommend someone hauling there family in one of these do to week brakes
My father ordered a 2022 Yukon Denali XL to replace his 2007 Suburban. We are still waiting for it.
With all my respect, GM nowadays quality is built in cheap down in Mexico 🇲🇽 with tons of problems ….. unless GM 2500 trucks and above are still built to last.

3 year, 36,000 mile warranty for 85k vehicle! That just turned me off. I bought a CPO Cadillac in 2017 and the warranty just expired December 2022, and they gave me 1 year free oil change. Foreign Auto Companies are treating you much better.
I will not spend that much money on a vehicle. I just refuse makes absolutely no sense to me.
I can definitely afford this but I don’t think any of these current SUVs are worth the prices they are being placed at. It’s very nice but I’ll wait 3 years and save 30-40K. But if this is what you like, Go for it!! It’s beautifully made just overwhelming overpriced.

100%. The car isn’t worth the price especially when it comes to materials and quality. We ended up buying a BMW X7 for $78,000. MSRP was $87,000. To get a bmw with much better materials but just a tad bit smaller for $7k less is quite the bargain

There’s a big gap between the interior of the Tahoe/Suburban to the Escalade. This is made to bridge that gap. Especially now that a loaded up Escalade is around $110,000 (MSRP not what they are selling for now unfortunately)
@@Jimmy-ms4sj But couldn’t General Motors have simply bridged the gap by offering the Yukon Denali interior as an optional cockpit upgrade for the Suburban High Country and call it a day? That would make a lot more sense to bridge the gap between just the Suburban and Escalade instead of making another rebadged version of the same vehicle.
Mr. Pink it mostly has to do with brand recognition. GMC has been positioned as kind of a medium level luxury brand since the early 2000’s when the first Denali Yukon came out. I think more people buy it cause it’s a GMC and not a Chevy as crazy as that may sound

Digital instruments will always be better. Less place for gauge failure and as well, yes a column shifter would’ve been so much better.
I can tell you that if I'm buying an 80k suv, it damn well better not have a column shifter and manual gauges.
