I am highly satisfied with my inflatable kayak, an Intex Challenger K1. I bought it because I didn’t have a car to carry a rigid kayak, just a rucksack. I have put it through some real abuse including rapids and many voyages and it is still intact. It was only when I dragged it through thick brush while it was inflated that it popped a hole, but even then I only have to come ashore to refill it every 2 hours. I am not being paid to promote this (wish I was that good) but this is just what I felt compelled to say about the Intex Challenger K1. Also I got it for like $65 but I see you can find it for $90 now.

Maybe can't be hooked, but an inflatable kayak seems to be way more stable. I have one and even in strong winds, I'm not afraid to get overturned.

What about the massive holes in the front and back?
No holes. It's one big solid sheet of plastic. There is a v shaped fold behind that "hole" that slants upward to the top of the craft. Water gets into the gap and just drains back outside the boat.
As long as the folds haven't torn none of the apparent below the waterline gaps will let water into the boat. Nothing stops you from swamping it like any other boat though.

@Tackle2thePeople Roof rack lmao, you can get one on Amazon for like 60$, get rid of this thing and get a sit on top, trust me brotha you’ll like it a lot more, it’s a decent investment depending on how nice you want to go but you could probably get one for 300-400 that will last forever and its way more stable.
These things should be cheaper then they are. There cool because u can't leave it in your trunk but there not that good as a kayak. But I would like one if they were cheaper because I'd rather get a good kayak for that price and put it on my roof.

In MA, bluegill and perch are the most common, and you can catch them with worms or lures.

@@norussianbiascomrade5614 yes a lot of the rivers and streams in the US are free to fish but you still need a fishing license. If you want to fish the ocean then you need a separate license for salt water and some piers on the beaches require you to pay a fee to fish it

I’ve always wanted to do bass fishing in America, you seem to know how to keep it fun and accessible without the needless bureaucracy! Is fly fishing big in the us?

Millennials enjoy good gas mileage, and most don’t have the money for a truck or a full size kayak. I don’t know a single person my age or near it against trucks.
To be fair though I strap my kayak to the roof of my shitbox Honda. It scratches the roof but I don’t really care and if it did bother you you could always put towels under it to prevent that. Just a thought
