Lolita and 1984 are very good books. George Orwell has also written Animal Farm - coming from an Eastern European country I would say this book is very true. Another book by Orwell is Down and Out in Paris and London where he describes his life as a poor man living on the streets and in shelters (that's because you said you like history). A disturbing book - The Collector by John Fowles. I don't remember how disturbing was this book, but the movie weighed heavy on me - The Piano Teacher, by Elfriede Jelinek (she has a Nobel Prize for literature).

Thanks! I will definitely check those books out! I do plan on reading animal farm after I read 1984! Thanks for the recommendations!
The Girl Next Door is actually a fictional retelling of a true crime. The case of Sylvia Likens.
Ah, I didn’t even know that! That just makes the book ten times disturbing 😳
Even I won't read Blood Meridian and I don't hurl easily.
I heard it’s a rough book, but I’m going to ease into good ol cormac before I read that one.
Brother man I have never heard of any of these 😅 what new software we rocking?
Lmfao, I had to google them😅.
Just using iMovie on the laptop instead of phone. Lol
