  • ok, it's actually 11 minutes, but you deserve the break. Take some time out to run your body through a guided sun salutation sequence.
    I love to start my morning with these, or use the sun salutations to break up a busy day behind the desk. They serve as an amazing pick-me-up when I'm studying for long hours.

    Thanks so much Shona! Can I ask if we want to start a daily practice with surya namaskar, how many reps would you recommend? Or time overall? Apologies if that’s a reductive question. Keen to hear your thoughts. Thank you so much!

      All questions are welcome and this is a good one. I always think it’s important to choose a number you could stick to. Traditionally it’s 5 A and 5 B - so I would aim for between 3-5 of each (or just 5 surya A if that’s all you’re wanting to focus on atm).

    The intro breathing was a bit long for me - I would rather go right into the sun saluations and practice.
