I really didn't think we'd be challenging for the scudetto. We finally got back into CL spots, and for the first time in a decade actually look like a team that has an identity, and can pass the ball more than twice before losing it. But once we got on top, it almost felt worse than being 4th, because I kept waiting for us to bottle it - only because we've been used to the last decade of disappointment. But credit to them, it's an amazing team of talented players all fighting for each other. There were so many clutch moments this season - bennacer's volley, tonali's last minute winner, kalulu's left footed strike. The whole squad won it together.

I was really upset about the scandalous match against atletico but now looking back i think it was in our best interest to leave champions league and focus on the championship. Milan are back baby!

Zlatan was not only the main part outside the pitch but also inside. 36 goals 11 assists since he arrived for his age is ridiculous. Also 2nd best scorer this season in the squad. His impact is immense
Fully agreed. Zlatan's role cannot be understated. Its simple. Without him we were a 8th or 10th spot team. Zlatan came and we finished 2nd and 1st.
Yep. The man is a legend and a natural born winner. Of course, Pioli, Paolo, Ricky and co. hold a huge chunk of the credit for this resurrection, but everybody knows how sometimes the best coaches can’t implement their tactics, you need that presence in the dressing room to tie it all together. Zlatan pushed them through everything this season, even from outside of the pitch and the Rossoneri all over the world will be forever grateful. Long Live the Lion!!! 🦁

I don't think it's fair to say that "Milan didn't win it, Inter lost it". Inter actually played really well and were on our heels the whole time - they had a bad stretch, and the costly Radu mistake, but we also got unfair calls against Spezia and Udinese. We had injuries to our starting centre backs. We had Maignan injured for a couple of months with surgery, playing Tatarasanu instead. We had Bennacer and Kessie out at the afcon. We clutched the last few games with last minute goals, heroics, and team efforts, all while Inter was winning every game too. Inter played well, but Milan fought through so much and deserved the win.
imo both team deserve to win no matter who won at the end based on this season's performance. Inter probably has a better starting 11 and at time played the most impressive attacking football in the league and undermined for playing several fronts. AC Milan's victory credits to the whole organization, from Massara, Maldini to Pioli etc who created a winning team with smart squad building and youngsters developments. Both Leao and Girod was clutch in the last 2 months.
Agreed. It's such a foolish thing to say. Should we say the same thing every time a club finishes a close second or third? And as you alluded to, Milan had some difficult moments - they could have won the league by a bigger margin - but their ability to bounce back was one of the key reasons for their success.
Bottom line; Inter and Napoli were not good enough. Both sides dropped too many cheap points.

To be honest my expectation this season was top 4.And in champions league to finish 3rd and go to Europa league.
But this team has done it. Won the scudetto. They have shown real character throughout the season.Huge credit to Pioli, Zlatan and Maldini.

The scary thing is, this team with an average age of 25 years old even with Ibra, Kjaer and Giroud, a backline and Goalkeeper whose oldest player is 25 years old, they can only get better and can continue improving for the next 3 to 5 years before they actually hit their peak.
This could be the start of a Milan Dynasty.

You're one of the few to mention this. Milan are already very good. and will only get better with time, and with Maldini's astute signings. When you factor in the wealthy new owners and their hunger for a new stadium, the future looks incredibly bright for Milan fans.
Inter and Juve fans seem to think this is a one-off for Milan, while ignoring the fact that both clubs have older squads. Juve have many problems from their questionable leadership, to their obsession with signing older players on very large contracts, ongoing waste of young talents, that and Allegri's extremely ugly and negative brand of football. While Inter continue to have financial problems and, again, might have to sell some key players.
I would argue ac milan have the best backline in serie a. Kalulu tomori parternership was phenomenal. Also maignan is the best gk in the league

The work from management and squad has been absolutely amazing. Kazidis sorted out a financial nightmare, sorted out the situation with UEFA, to the point that now Milan is one of the financially healthiest teams in serie A. Then the work of Maldini and Massara was just as important. Theo, Rafa, Miagnan, Kalulu, Tomori, Tonali, Giroud... These guys were critical for this scudetto. And cosidering how little they spent on this team compared to the budgets of Inter or Juve... This is one of the proudest scudettos for me.

Good structure and smart investments led to Milan winning, yes Zlatan bringing that winning mentality to a young group, but Pioli also deserves credit for how he set up the team and really gave the young players a platform to develop and grow like Leao, Tonali, Bennacer, etc

AC Milan was the first European football club that I was exposed to. The first time I saw them play was watching the 1995 European Cup on tv where they lost to Ajax in thriller. Milan lost that match but that was some best football that I’d ever seen. AC Milan had incredible players like Maldini, Roberto Donodoni, Franco Baresi, Gueseppi Signori, etc. They have been my favorite team ever since!
The post Berlusconi era was very painful to watch with Juve winning it year after year. Anyway, I’m just happy! I’ve always been a Milan fan. I’ve never been to Italy 🇮🇹, I don’t speak Italian, and there’s nothing Italian about me. I’m just a black man from Florida that loves AC Milan! Im so proud of them! Forza Milan!

Milan not only managed to win serie a, but they did it playing the best style in serie a and got ripped off in the CL outplayed Atl Madrid both games. Pioli was great and manages to get he best out of his team. Complimenti 🤌
