Investigation launched after shots fired at house in Oldham

An investigation is underway after gunshots were blasted at a home in Oldham.
Horrified residents on Prince Edward Avenue woke to find their street cordoned off this morning (May 7) after the incident in the early hours.
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said officers were called to reports of a shooting at around 1am.
Officers raced to the scene and 'were able to confirm that a firearms discharge had taken place'. Nobody was injured in the incident, the force spokesperson added.

Oldham Times won't show this footage - and we all know why. The police are telling residents 'don't worry - this was a targeted attack'. Yep, just like the last firearms attack a week ago whereby a shot was fired through a chip shop window. 'Don't worry - it's a targeted attack' Well, sorry to spoil your rhetoric, but we don't accept this 'don't worry' rubbish. A child or an innocent member of the public could have been inside the chip shop, or walking past this house yesterday. If you work for the Police Force and don't like, or don't think you can handle the job - get out of it and try another job that you're more suitable for. This isn't the job for you. We don't want you in the Police Force. You're not what we want, nor what we expect.
