for the list of variables that can be put into a season they NEED to make an option to just randomize it. i feel like you having to choose which variable is thrown at you kinda defeats the purpose. i really hope there will be a random choice

aarava is nowhere near quick enough to compete with tom nowadays
@philbobaggins97 Yeah, Aarava races at like 90 AI difficulty. Even in a maxed out Career Mode car, he was nowhere near WR lap times. And the maxed out career mode car is like 2 seconds faster than equal F1 cars.
But they both teased something

Remember how everyone thought back in 2021 that the game will go completely stale after the EA takeover?
Because it turns out that EA do what Codies don't, we finally got a major career overhaul for the first time since basically F1 2016

Tbh I like the idea of driving as Verstappen or Hamilton for a career, however for £90 it's still not worth it for me.

Yes, they're not only updating career mode, thats the point. Even if you only play career mode you will still get the avdvantage of the new handling, tyres, etc. It will give more strategy options in career mode and make battles more fun the game is worth it as a whole.

@@niceraa First of: Great that you have passion for the game. Secondly I think your judgement is clouded by the 2 trailers. EA/Codemasters are always overselling there idea like its new. But in essentially it always comes down to a couple things:
- HUD change (which they really made uneasy to manouver thru and stupid animations that take too long)
- "New" handling
- Livery change
Also EA/Codemasters aren't really good with performing like they do in there trailers: I remember the improved damage model they did in F1 23 or F1 22. For it then to be removed or toned down. I won't take their word for it what they say in the trailers and you shouldn't do too.
If these changes are really impactful, we will notice after launch and after the first couples of updates.
@@venom5968 I totally agree, it’s average EA marketing 😂. I do think however it will be a noticeable improvement because there are features that are guaranteed and already in the beta playtest build that are great imo. I think the next weekend of playtesting will really show if the game is what they say it is. I will come back after the next playtesting session and let you know! Unless you’re a part of that also 🤣
If F1 games worked as intended without major issues (AI that crashes you every turn like in F1 22, non existent grip on curbs like F1 21, etc) they would may be worth the full price if it was a single entry but it's a franchise with very small additions every eddition and you can always expect many small bugs and some major bugs.
F1 games are never worth the full price if you own the previous edition. Wait for sales.
