no one noticed that it was a phrase from Friedrich Nietzsche: "Whoever fights monsters should take care, in the fight, not to become a monster himself. And as for the one who scans the bottom of the abyss, the abyss scans him in turn".
18:30 Star Trek second pilot (aired as S1E3 "Where No Man Has Gone Before") Gary Mitchell gains god-like powers and eventually considers humans like ants... The stronger you get the further you are removed from humanity.
9:10 "Don't... bother. I'm not gonna make it." This reminds me of the scene in Saving Private Ryan (which I'm not going to link to here) where the mortally-wounded medic just replies "more morphine" when asked what they needed to do to help him.
They skipped a few scenes from the episode which I would like to mention 1.Kang instantly cancels the poison effect to which Jinwoo thinks that it doesn't work on strong opponents 2.Joohee gave burnt boosters and haste to Jinwoo in this fight 3.One of the prisoners playing dead and Jinwoo feeding him to goblins and the boss which which just proves Kang's words about Jinwoo becoming a killing machine even more since this time he killed someone not because of self defence but simply because he was a scum 4.Kang offered Jinwoo and the others that he would let them live if they keep quiet about him killing the other 2 guys but offcourse that wasn't gonna happen
We were told she's high up in the comments. 😆 The show didn't make that clear. Thought she was just the PT/Range stud that thinks they're in the Command Team.
loved this episode, nice video! there was a scene they seemed to have skipped in the anime that I was looking forward too but they could still do a flashback so I won't say what it is yet.
They had time... lol. I have carried "dead" weight in body armor. It wasn't that serious of a remark or something to hold against them seriously... but they could have made some effort! Thanks for watching!
@@TheGenreVerse it be like appraisal. A screen could pop up above other people and it would say hunter is class A = level 90 ,title mage, skills what, then stats like they where given 100 intel
4:20 I'm almost embarrassed to comment because I've always been a civie and have never even had any sort of crime committed against me (except for someone stealing a car from my driveway over 20 years ago), but... No matter what confidence you have you never know what you will do the first time you are shot at or the first time you see the guy beside you die. I can only relay this sentiment from talking to an in-law WWII navel veteran who was (while underaged) on the USS Nevada in Pearl Harbor (and who later participated in certain small-party on-shore excursions) and a Vietnam "War" veteran who live a floor below me in my apartment complex in 1988/89. (Things sure have been peaceful, haven't they. We haven't been in an actual "war" since WWII. We've just had a series of "police actions", "advisory roles", and "operations". Makes you sick, doesn't it?)
In thé anime it looks like i gets stronger once he gets thé quest but in thé manwa they show you that he was holding back to get thé quest he had to kill that Guy eather way so he was milking thé fight for all it was worth
As a manhwa reader, I'm gonna say they didn't include some details that are meaningful enough to impact the story. The victim actually offered 2 billion won, but his offer was rejected by kang taeshik (the b rank assassin hunter) so he offered 3 billion won in the end. As for the fight, they didn't animate sung jinwoo using the rune stone to obtain the stealth skill. Overall, this episode is too over rushed and the pacing kinda out of whack.
there is no going back from here on, he will keep losing parts of his humanity
Kind of a misleading comment
well, everyone will eventually know what he becomes. why should i spoiler it?@@AldoTegan
Its crazy to think about much Jin Woo has to grind just too have the same stats of a B-Rank who started that strong.

Some of that may come in the next episode though.
Oh the s-rank female is actually the vice president of that guild

It's not needed though and I believe it's still too dramatic a change for him.
2:26 Cha Hae-in is pronounced Cha Hay In. :)
I was close! 😆 Thanks!
bro dead bodies are so heavy to carry, they get heavier after dying.

lets go! :D
Something that would be cool is if Jin woo gained the ability to other people stats.
Like "assess" in FF?

Everybody is different and you just have to hope you fall back on training and can push through...
20:05 She wants to trade it for a diamond, I think.
No, purple hair guy can't be bought, he will do it for free.
Apparently...
14:35 He's a PvP player...
JinWoo do Goku warm up
RIP Akira Toriyama
He did... I noticed that when editing. Akira Toriyama touched so many lives... So many.
Oh its sucks that they cut one of the most badass parts

épisode 8 and 9 are garbage omg, nothing/slow il the 8 and all/very fast in 9, its really disgusting, this scene deserve better
Sorry it didn't hit as well for you...
Sorry but the long stints of silence really put me off.
better than talking over the entire anime like other people do..
I can't leave long stretches of anime only audio. Even with the distortion... It's part of the balance of giving you more footage/reaction.
