All you have to do is say 'my mom/dad is in a band' and kids usually go nuts about that. Then tell them that it's KMFDM and their jaws would drop. I wouldn't worry about their kids being 'cool'. They could be the nerdiest kids around and still get props.
Fuck yes they do....if Kmfdm can do it this long, and still be amazing, dude or Chica...there are so many other mediums to actually change or save or Earth. .charisma is longer lasting, it can start cults, ppl to follow you blindly....plus I saw them in 1997 in Chicago bc I LOVED NIHIL, then in 2017...the beat. Mesmerizing sound...is the same...artists can cross sounds, modernize, fuck that they can't evolve further...I bet the band members, parents, would agree. I know it was in gest to comment that but, I got on a rant listening to Beast...fav. much love!
Yeah.....they really sound this good live. Ive seen them about 8 times over the last decade and KUNST may be the one best of their live performances. KMFDM sucks.
Yes, was lucky enough to catch them in October 2005 in London. Fucking great show. Then went to Rammstein midnight CD launch for Rossenrot right after.
I’ve been trying to find out what is the best album with these guys and what songs to listen to but now I think I found the song now start getting into them more
first time i saw them was the tour in ... '89 with Ministrys Mind tour. (revco, kmfdm and ministy) I was the only one of my friends who had even heard of them - i was big into WaxxTraxx. they killed it then and every time i have seen them play since, and it has been many shows - in the audience and back stage. Their music is solid and it is always great when I pick up my five year old and she says "can we listen to KMFDM or Skinny Puppy today dad?" she loves "daddys music"
I was there in Chicago waxx traXx in the beginning! I am glad to see the band still rocking! Even if a few are missing and some extras are there! Thanks guys! Sasha I miss u!
This shit really hits hard. They played in my home country Sweden this summer but I didn't have the opportunity to see them. Hope I get another opportunity!
What a fantastic live act. I'd love to see them play. First started listening to them in prison about 25 years ago, a convict buddy of mine turned me on to them. Still listening and loving them. Their ouvre is on a very short list of music I blast in my ears while I'm working out. And I'm very serious about working out. Others on the list: Rammstein, Pain, Lindemann, and lots of old Judas Priest and Alice in Chains. Oh, and some Dead Kennedys and Black Flag. Nice to see them play live. This video just now is literally the first time I've ever seen them as a live act. What a nice surprise. I thought they were mainly a studio act. Meaning a lot of dubbing and mixing and sampling and engineering not something they could really do live. Fuckin hell, was I wrong! Happy to see it too. KMFDM, sort of like Rammstein that you can dance to. Love 'em. Hope to see them play some day.
@@miked3168 Not really. Just because she joined the band and married Cap'N'K doesn't mean she is the "yoko ono of the band". Lucia is actually a talented musician, yoko was/is NOT...

Kein Mitleid Fur Die Merheit FOREVER! Oddly enough my top three acts of all time are David Bowie, Depeche Mode and KMFDM. I've seen KMFDM live literally from coast to coast over many years. Theyare probably the MOST under rated rock band of all-time.
I saw this lot of hootnannys way back in the day in Lodon... THEY BLEW THE ROOF OFF !!! Great fun , and very approachable too, a rare combination of great noise AND Great peep's too... Almost every other band I have ever seen make good music , but are DIX off stage , or are great guys to have the craic with , but lousy sounds on stage ..Always wondered why that was . cheers for downloading this vid ya'll...

There is Always Hope, especially with KMFDM. The problem for you younger ones is that you have not experienced a War, even (as my fingers shake) experiencing the Draft/Selective Service. You already signed up when you were 18, & suddenly a War has been declared they are rounding up your friends and changing the rules as they go. Something is in the Air today, and I told my 2 Boys when I saw them earlier "if we have to Run to the Hills, we know the drill." They introduced me to KMFDM. 2 years ago they had introduced me to RAMMSTEIN 2 years ago, & 4 years ago this month we saw them at the Coliseum up on the wing for $40 a ticket. Fast forward to 2 years ago, and my Boys turned me on to KMFDM, I think first with "Bait & Switch," & I had found my new Drug of Choice, having given up Cocaine & Vodka 33 years ago, but I refused to give up Live Music. Me & my Boys were front row at the Fillmore in S.F. last Spring for +/- $40 a ticket. Tickets to see them with The Morlocks the the Big & Reunion Shows were less than $50 each. Without KMFDM in this World, my Boys would agree I would probably be Dead or incarcerated with a Big pile of bodies left behind.
I like them both. It's actualy troubling that they using the fan abbrievature, it's the things that bands do when they starting to doubt their abilities - making scandals and everything. I am not sure they didn't use it before though OR didn't make other conflicts
If I'm not mistaken it was a joke KMFDM played on the media at the time (being that they did not know german and would take something at face value) and KMDFM has kept it since.
When i played guitar and synth (past tense-arthritis-btw, now i write stuff;) i only drempt i could play like Sascha Konietzo..coincidentally, i had my all black ibanez (no stedi-cam on the headstock, however), black boss metal zone fx pedal with orange writing, pumping thru 4, 50 watt, powered kustom p a speakers! ( No mohawk like SK.. i did try to color my hair with kool aid, but that's another story entirely..) Sincerely $fo
So most of the band have kids. Imagine being a teenager and trying to be "cooler than your parents" and they are literally KMFDM. You have no hope.
All you have to do is say 'my mom/dad is in a band' and kids usually go nuts about that. Then tell them that it's KMFDM and their jaws would drop.
I wouldn't worry about their kids being 'cool'. They could be the nerdiest kids around and still get props.

Brilliant. Still rocking after all these years. More than impressive live.
I didn’t think this song could sound any better, then I hear this version. 🤯🤯🤯
I love both Depeche Mode and KMFDM
Well KMFDM likes both Depeche Mode and KMFDM too.
I think they suck, but i'm predictable and boring.
I like both too.
What the hell Depeche Mode do to them to get this much despise from them, did they assassinated Lucia's cat or something

@Hardy Harhar Hell yeah! :D
I don't always listen to industrial music but when I do it KMFDM 🇩🇪
Everybody looks so great. And! Still totally ROCKING!!! In my opinion, you carry the torch for 80's industrial - the greatest genre. Keep shredding!!!
We love 80's industrial. Only televangelists and Gwyneth Paltrow don't.

KMFDM is the ultra heavy beat. KMFDM stands for “Kein Mehrheit Fur Die Mitleid,” which, roughly translated, means “no pity for the majority.”
Funny how they were against the system and now they've fallen in line. Like a less pathetic rage against the machine.
