Personally, I love this song and Melody does not use any effects on her voice. This was filmed in their home studio. They are an independent band and do everything their self. I think they did a great job. It’s hard to do a lavish production video for every song on an album. Stay independent and keep Rocking. Love me some Liliac 🤘🏻🤘🏻
Can't please everyone all the time , tthanks for your honest opinions even though I disagree with them . That's what makes music different for everyone . This song one of my favourites was recorded in their home basement studio and even if not live it was still great, their live concert performances when recorded and videod professionally are actually better than their studio efforts, thats when their stage presence really stands out . FANG4LIFE RORH
As a FANG I appreciate your reaction. That's how the band grows. To not just listen to the kudos and the hurrahs but to take the criticism into account as well. I am not a fan of growls but they were so quick that it was okay with me. I especially love the direction they are trying out; metal and I feel they will only get better. I prefer Not Afraid better than this one, but I feel they are trying to get a message across about mental illness. (i.e. Somber Cry). Thanks for your input guys.
I think this song is a good one.Remember they are a independed band so they dont have the money freaks suport in the back. And remember they are testing out effects and different styles.I think you are a bit hush.
For the Anti-keyboard Clique....have you forgotten about a fellow named John Lord....I hear he used to play the "Keys" for a Band called Deep Purple? He played in the same bunch as Ritchie Blackmoor..... But...they cut their hair off, and ain't wearing all black leather clothes....say the guy WITHOUT a hair on his head....how does that work, anyway?
AWESOME Song, and She is HOT !!!!! Thanks for Waiting till the Song was Finished to Comment. MANY other Channels Talk over the Music or Pause and that gets ANNOYING. 😎
I never thought Madness was the best track on the album. I preferred the Hypothermia and Hologram songs. I agree with a lot of your points on the Madness track. I like Liliac but, they like any other band will not always be 100% perfect. Thanks for the reaction guys cheers and stay awesome.✌
"It ain't bad... but it ain't great". I am a huge FANG, but that's sort of how I felt about this one. It felt a little to me like Liliac adds a little Slipknot to the mix. They're experimenting and adding to their sound, so I don't really have a problem with the song. It's just not my favorite direction they've tried.
I thought it was decent but not great. Like a lot of AC/DC, Led Zepelin, Jimi Hendrix songs.. But it has GREAT songs from Lilac too. Carousel, Sail Away, Nothing, Chain of Thorns, Dancing In The Dark, We Are The Children. Like Purple Haze, Stairway to Heaven, Thunderstruck ...
Can't please everyone all the time . I like Daves hair better this way . Maybe you would like their live performance of this at OC Choppers in florida better .
When you have your OWN Recording Studio...in the basement of their house...NO VOCAL effects on her voice, EVER. Keytar Bias? Really..did you ask Edgar Winter about how he liked one? "Frankenstein" anyone? Oh, you forgot about THAT, didn't you. Next time, try the Audio only songs...only 8 more to try..get busy. Same exact studio set they used with "Hate myself for loving you" video...
The nasty comments are why I don't never like the video. It is for sure you are a Warning fan. I never give a band such bad reviews like you guys do. You are the first channel I have seen to give a bad review on this song. I'm done with you guys. ⚠⚠⚠⚠
Weirdly we loved master and carousel and their cover of trooper, we just didn't feel this one. We were honest in our feedback, sorry if that's not what you expect from reactions
@@adkrockandmetalsome fans are very immature and can't take any criticism. We all have opinions, you just can't have a different one from me! 😂 There are better songs off this album, some of them don't have videos. Hologram, Hypothermia & Buried Alive come to mind.
@@adkrockandmetal here again we see the weird obsession among a lot of Liliac fans with comparisons to The Warning. They can't help themselves but to drag the Warning into every Liliac conversation.
I guess you were expecting Metallica in EVERY song? This song is simply just Rock & Roll..80s style, the band has never called this song "Heavy Metal" Plus, all 5 of the Band's members have a hand in writing all the songs on this album..@@adkrockandmetal
Although Liliac has taken a huge step forward in their writing with Carasel, this one seems to have been a bit of formulaic splicing of an effort. The video style, if done very well, would have resulted in what Motion Device did with Blindfold It Away (the difference there being that Blindfold It Away had a lot of creative prog elements and complexity, which lent itself to that video style). Musically, it did come off as the band trying to sound like someone and/or everyone else (in this case, about 85% Megadeth), which I always hate. A non-cover cover formula which feels like a Megadeth style song with a Motion Device video editing style. They are capable of much better than this.
About the worst, most CLUELESS reaction I have ever had the displeasure to have sat through. Did you even read the Lyrics? Does NOT sound like. Ask Edgar Winter about HIS Keytar....
Madness is a perfect album description for the band because the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result, i mean at the moment Lilliac are an unprofessional mediocre band with zero direction and unless they are prepared to start to look outside for professional help with lyrics, music production, stage craft, music composition, i mean they cant be bothered getting the singer a vocal coach to get the most out of her ability, they will be nothing more, you only have to look at their YT and Spotify numbers to see the sub-standard quality of their original material, this will upset their small diehard fanbase who think they should be playing stadiums but instead struggle to sell out 2 to 300 seat venues they will also tell you that the band wants to be independent by choice but the fact is no label would touch them with a 10 foot pole as they currently are if they are truly serious about being quality musicians they need to start taking a professional approach and reinvest back into themselves and seeking every opportunity to improve in all aspects
