Lou is the most positive person I have "met". I love her attitude. She is so much like my Mama. She doesn't 'sweat the small stuff" It was great seeing Bre and Lou cooking together.
Ole Dan, think POSITIVE. ❤ guess Ole Dan's new name is Sissy Dan 😂 Thank you Bri, y'all should do more Lou and Bri cooking. Nice to see Mother and Daughter cooking together.❤
I love y'all! And for the record, that is an acquired taste. (Bama girl here!) Also, not all Alabama bbq is white. Most of it is regular bbq sauce, & we have some killer bbq places here. Dreamland bbq, Bob Sykes, & Top Hat, just to name a few. Love that all of you tried it, & I really like the 50 states recipe idea.❤
@@daniel_morrow_outdoors Alabama girl here. I’ve never heard of white bbq sauce. I prefer Kraft Original, Mesquite, Honey, or Smokey and Sweet Baby Ray’s. I will eat the Great Value brand also if I can’t get the other two brands. I am not a fan of most of the ingredients that went into that white sauce 🤢 so I would not be trying it😂. My advice, maybe go with 1/8 cup of apple cider vinegar and a little less lemon juice. It wouldn’t be so strong then. I knew Steph would like it though. She has a very eclectic palette 😂.
Hi Dan and Lou.. you can take all those chicken skin and season lightly and put in airfrier for crispy skins! Kind of like pork rinds but thinner. Great side snack. That sauce looks good.
Ok so we all needed this laugh today. Uncle Dan bless you!!. I'm crying laughter tears today... And lue being the momma she is making him taste it. The whole scene was hilarious 😂
Lou you are awesome. You remind me of myself. Your attitude your demeanor. How you are w your house. I love watching y’all. May God continue to bless yall.
you need to make a rule in your email and folders for all 50 states. tell everyone to put their state in the subject, then the emails will automatically to into the "state" folder.
I watch all of the family videos,I suffer from anxiety and panic attacks and watching y'all helps calm me, especially the cooking videos and the banter.I just love the whole Morrow family and I'm so glad Lester started something that branches off to you all,God bless y'all, from South Carolina with love 😘
😂 love it Lou play the small fiddle for Dan lol😂 Morrow hill would be so lost if you did not have plastic forks and spoons. We not longer have plastic spoons , forks or straws in Ont Canada 🇨🇦
Lou, I got to say how proud of you I am. You have come a long way in a year. I remember at first you absolutely refused to touch raw meat without gloves on and here you are working up that chicken. You are a better cook than you used to let us believe. Great job. PS. I would have done it all in a big pan also.
Great cooking show Lou and Bri....😅😂Dan you too 😊and the chicken looked delicious Lou...Always love the Morrow family gathering...God bless 🙌 each of you and God bless Jami for speedy recovery and strength!!Amen!!!! ❤🙏🙌🙏❤
Lou, you did an awesome job !! I like watching the cooking videos ( actually all y'all videos !) I really like when all the family comes around and interacts. Looking forward to y'all next cooking video. Lou you are a beautiful person . Inside & out !!! Much Love ❤
I don’t like touching raw chicken either! I have a hard time eating chicken because of the raw chicken smell. I have been better with chicken lately. Love you and Bri working together. 😊😊
Love all your cooking episodes. You two keep me laughing. Love the family testing. When you get to Maine, wish I could send you the Moxie drink, red hot dogs, we have the best hotdog buns. & You could make Whoopie pie cookies . Excited to see what you make for each state.
I’m from north Alabama. Huntsville, I do not put horseradish in mine. But I do like it in other things. You can also baste it in the white sauce when your almost done grilling. It just dissolves and gives a great flavor.
I don't know if I would like the white BBQ sauce. I would taste it if there was some available. It was about a half and half of likes and dislikes for the sauce. You didvgreat zlou and had to do the hardest part by yourself then Bri came over and helped you out. It was great, lol. Thankyou for the first, cooking episode on season two using Alabama recipe. I'm looking forward for Alaska next week. You all have a wonderful day and week. 💞💞
Hi Dan and Lou. Well done Lou great cooking. All enjoyed. Apart from the Alabama sauce. Great episode looking forward to Alaska. Have a great day take care and God Bless 🙏💕😎🧑🏻🍳
Dan must not like mayonnaise. About made me gag making those faces. Lou you are so funny and positive. Please be there for Jami and Lester! Love you guys!❤❤
Hi Daniel and Lou! I thought the Alabama sauce looked good. But I like a mayonnaise base. Please pray for my dad, he’s in ICU. I look forward to your next cooking video! God bless you all! From Canadice NY ❤
Awwwwwww. I'm gonna miss the racing around the counter it's just a little something fun. I think we should vote on it. Keep racing 🤣😂 live watching all the Morrow channels. 🙏🙏💕 Prayers for Jamie and Lester. And congrats to y'all Grandma and grampa again 💕💕
Make a folder for your emails and move it over. You can use it and organize it. You can have them all in one place. Sub folders for states as well. ❤ hope that helps.
I have heard of white BBQ sauce but I haven’t ever tried it. I like a spicy sauce and I make one that you simmer onions in bourbon and add cayenne etc to it and it has a kick and is really good. I will have to try the white sauce! Thanks for another fun family video!
Daniel, you have sissy taste buds. Horseradish is a strong root, pulled from the ground. Very tasty with beef and a component of many seafood dip sauces. Not too very bbq sauce is red and hot. Great job Lou and Brie❤. God’s blessings
Bri don't throw away those chicken skins if you think it's the best part...fry them up by themselves. Just heat up your oil and drop them in one at a time. They will shrink up fast as they cook, turn them over and add another as you have space to fry. Remove to paper towels to drain and add salt n pepper. ENJOY!!!
Thsnks guys great video ! I personally love Alabama White Sauce on chicken , Pork Chops , and it’s really good as a sauce on Hamburgers snd Hotdogs, and I also use it as a yummy salad dressing , to me it taste a lot like Ranch dressing on a salad !! Thanks for giving us the recipe as y’all made it ! I really enjoyed the video as always ! Y’all have a great week ! God bless ❤️🙏🙋🏻🌈🌈
FYI - I asked my daughter (they make the Alabama white sauce) and they cook (more so heating & simmer than anything) the sauce just like they would making homemade buffalo sauce from scratch. So the wings and the sauce are @same temp in coating. That alone probably cuts down on the "twang" from the apple cider vinegar. I make my wing sauce from scratch, not store bought so mine too is hot when I coat my wings. Just like If I use Frank's Original Hot Sauce, I get a thicker sauce. If I use Texas Pete, I get a thinner more vinegar tasting sauce. My wing sauces are butter (real butter) and hot sauce only, heated and simmered until the wings are done. I don't use Tobasco at all unless I wanna kick up the heat a little, and only a few drops then. I like a thicker sauce coating these days so I opt for Franks. I don't coat or batter my wings, I like em nekkid.
Daniel now you know how everyone else feels when you make them try your cooking!!!😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 You are a big sissy Daniel!!! Grow up!!! I still think Lou should have her own cooking show without your involvement!!! Love ya Lou!!!❤❤❤
Good Morning Daniel & Lou! I've never heard of a white BBQ sauce. Sounds interesting. Thank you for sharing this video with us. 👍🇨🇦😊 You 2 are so much fun. 👍👏😂🤣
Looked good to me. I would definitely make some but from the reactions of most of the family I would cut the vinegar by half and the horseradish I would also cut by half. Great video as usual!
Hey ya’ll, just a simple tip or “Hack” when removing the skin from chicken. I use a paper towel as a gripper. Grab and pull that skin with a paper towel, no slipping and it pulls right off! Love your show! Can’t wait till you get to Indiana, have lots of ideas. 😊
Good job bri, this reminded me of about a month ago we bought a huge box of legs and thighs attached I sat my daughter down we desected leg from thigh de skinned them And then vacuum sealed 52 bags of chicken it helps to use latex gloves if you don't like the feeling of raw chicken meat on ur hands.
Lou, I sure do appreciate you for being such a positive and strong woman! You are an inspiritation to many of us.! You just take the bull by the horn and go for it, I like that attitude!❤️👍❤ Guess what I saw at Walmart here in Oklahoma City, I was lookin at the cast irons and they are carrying Lodge cast irons . I was surprised!
And the Emmy for best Dramatic Performance in a cooking show goes to Dan! 😂 Wow!! LOL. This was so flipping funny to watch. Actually I don’t like Mayo but I like the Alabama white sauce. We don’t have it in a lot of places (NC) but if I see it I will order it. Very good on grilled chicken! Good choice with the drumsticks.
Sorry, behind on these. Watching Dan in the first 10 minutes makes me wonder how he's going to get through all 50 states 😄 Beginning to think Steph may have a very unique palate that allows her to taste and enjoy things that most may not like. There's a word for it. Umami I think. Looking forward to all the videos this year ❤
California girl here and I’ve had white BBQ sauce once and really liked it! Granted, I don’t know how the restaurant made it but, I could taste more horseradish than vinegar so the only kick was spice not a vinegar twang …. Happy you made this, now I have a base recipe to use and make it how I remember it tasted! Thank you!
Hi Lou, I'm behind on the videos but when taking skin off of chicken, user a paper towel or a rag you can throw away to grip the skin. Makes it 100 times easier...❤
I live in Georgia, I’m 15 minutes from Alabama. I’ve had it served with a red bbq sauce, and they put the White sauce over the red! It was really good.
Hi ya’ll, Bri good to see you cooking with Lou. Thank you Bri . That is not anything I would ever make. I don’t like touching raw meat eat chicken. Lou doing fantastic job fixing the meal. The sauce would be good on a salad. Looking forward to to Alaska food!
You all are too funny! 🥰You put a little too much vinegar and not enough brown sugar in it. Lou told you “Dan” to pack the sugar in the spoon but you didn’t. 🤪😊Alabama sauce is great when made correctly.🤪😊Great cooking Lou!🥰
Thank you all for being such a wonderful support to Jami and Lester . It breaks my heart what she went through
