It’s very interesting that things, places or people can be very popular or known in a place but completely unheard in other places, I think that’s one of many beauties of the world

I asked my mum whether we could go to Mexico or not? Her instant reaction was:” what can we do in Mexico? Sell drugs?”. Pretty unfortunate how one downside of a country managed to over shadow its goods. 😔
Maybe for tourists it is underated but it is the 2nd largest city in Mexico and like everyone knows about it personally for me San Luis Potosí is really underated but that is just my opinion ❤️
I love San Luis Potosí; the state has an amazingly varied geography. I believe that Monterrey is now the second largest Mexican city by population. For years, I went to Guadalajara every summer; it is a great city.
I went to Guadajalara about a month ago and it was absolutely the most beautiful city I have actually been to in Mexico. It reminded me so much of somewhere in Europe and I was impressed to the hospitality being a black male.
If you want an experience like Europe then this is not the city, you have to visit Puebla, one of the only states that actually make you feel like you are walking in France!

Exactly, as a regio myself i really enjoy living in Monterrey. Although i've never eaten cabrito it's a dish very associated with the city. Also, the metro zone of Monterrey includes San Pedro, the richest municipality in Mexico and Latin America.

I bought a one way ticket a few years ago and lived in todos santos and traveled the Baja California, going up to La Paz and down all the way to San Jose del Cabo! What a beautiful part of Mexico!

During that year it is estimated that the city received 12 millions tourist and one third of them where foreigners, that means that the city itself received that year as much international tourist as all Peru or Colombia.

I would say Leon guanajuato is pretty underrated. I went and there were no tourists, and the city was beautiful.
