Downward a CATIA model from 3DXP to V5

Hello CATIA Fan, we wanted to show you a useful tool to use in CATIA V5 or in 3DExperience: The Downward Compatibility!
This batch mode allows you to export a model to a previous CATIA release. Now, in the 3DExperience it is possible to export a drawing and geometrical set in addition of a solid. Just watch it and do not hesitate to contact us if you have questions!

Hi @maxime,
I have a 3D EXPERIENCE drawing template (empty) and I want to convert it to V5 for supplier data.
But when I do and export the V5 data, I am unable to edit the title block.
Is there anything I need to do in settings.
Please advice

Can I convert R17 version catproduct to R21 version as I m facing an catia error under incident report that "file reading problem due to data storage of versioning."??Plz help to resolve this...

Hello Kalokhemahesh, no it is no possible in that direction (upward). If you have R21, you can open the file from R17. If you have R17 you cannot open file from R21. The best would be to upgrade your release, or have several release installed on your machine (www.3ds.com/support/)

Is it possible to export a CATPart and keep the model history or will it be lost after the exportation ?
