In 2002 my baby that I was expecting had a 50/50 chance of living or dying because of his heart condition. When I found out about his heart, the Cardiologist said abortion was an option. I chose to carry my son to term . He passed away 3 weeks after he was born. It was a special and very painful time. He passed away in my arms. But I chose to take that chance if he did survive. I will see him again in heaven someday. ❤

I have to say that I had my 2nd pregnancy at 19. I got pregnant at 17 and gave birth at 18. I still feel that I am a murderer and it has been with me for many year's. I am 64 now and I still feel that I definitely have did the worst sin possible. I had 2 more children after my abortion and I have opened up to my children year's ago that I was not able to move on. I cried for years and I was a catholic at the time and year's after I actually went to confession face to face with a priest. I cried so hard that I was completely overwhelmed by the fact that I was begging for forgiveness. The priest was very kind to me but I continued to cry for many more year's. When I am asked by any Dr. How many times I was pregnant, I lie because I just really want nobody to know. I have opened up a bit more about it but I carry a lot of guilt over this and other things that were wrong. I sometimes feel that God has to be sick of the struggles that I have been through and for a while thought that he could noway care about me. I have been watching your stories and I do believe that I am going to try so hard to figure out how to get past this and feel that I still have a chance for eternal life. I think about the fact of dieing and being told that I was so terrible that I don't deserve eternity in heaven. I just can't imagine meeting this little life I had taken out of me and being able to be loved by him/her. I definitely know that it wasn't right for me to be born but then choose to abort the baby because I had a 9 month old and not even married to her father yet. We married exactly when she turned 1 and I believe that I have suffered so much that maybe I was supposed to go through so much pain because of this and other things I did that weren't right. I married a abusive cheater that was absolutely worse than my mom and her verbal abuse. I have to get this resolved in my head that I will not be punished and go to hell. I basically was told that I was going to go to hell if I did anything wrong by my mom and I resented her and rebelled. I drank did drugs and slept around and I was just not caring about myself. I want to be forgiven and I definitely am not that person anymore but I honestly believe that the guilt is preventing me from feeling like I deserve happiness. Thank you for letting me release the pain of things that I no longer can change. I lost my son 6 years ago and I definitely feel that I have been through so much pain that I just keep feeling that I failed at life.
