@@evansheehan9258 See, this is what I was thinking; Turtles are semi-aquatic; Tortoises are fully terrestrial. Although, I think terrapins are the semi-aquatic ones, whereas _true_ turtles are fully aquatic.
I appreciate everyone who has taken the time to comment that one of these doesn't belong in water. Hate to break the news but this is a cartoon and scientific accuracy went out the window around the same time they started talking.
The thing is that took the time to draw them, "animate" them, voices, and even based them on real turtle and tortoise species, is it really so hard to make sure they can swim?...no, it's just a simple google search.
This show will eventually get its due. Hard to put my finger on it, but something was off about the timing of this show's release. It just didn't work out. But it's gold. Cats and Rats are the two best episodes.

I want to like to this show as all my friends watch it, but can someone explain the humor to me? I'm think that if I can learn how to find this funny that I won't be left out of those conversations anymore. Thanks!
you need become more intelligent not to offend you but the humor in this show is a lot more intelligent than other generic cartoons on television perhaps reading more books might help again no offense intended
No offense taken whatsoever, I just want to be able to understand the humor better. As a start, do you think you could explain where to look for the humor in this particular video? I saw the episode where the birds fly into a room with a dead body, but like this video I just didn't get it. I think someone who really understands the humor could provide a simple explanation of where to start. Once I "get it" I should be able to figure the rest out. Thanks for your help! :)

Don’t get turtles, they require very expensive setups, a lot of maintenance, and will most likely outlive you
