Homebrew rule (which I use for my own homemade game system as well) is a Graze/Hit damage mechanic. I also do a reliable damage mechanic in combination where if a Melee Weapon/Unarmed Strike cannot roll lower than half its die total.
- Graze: Hitting an Armor Class results in normal damage. Deal damage normally. Using Reliable Damage a 1d8 rapier would always do 4 damage if you roll

Hey ! Was completely randomly recommended this by RUclips (I live in the middle of nowhere in Europe) and I love your dynamic, it's really fun to listen! As a DM myself, I love your interaction. Could we expect a campaign podcast, not only covering topics but maybe playing, showing how a situation is thought out and then resolved (a before / during / after but for DMs) ? Maybe a double-DM one-shot ? Keep up, loved it!
As a sidenote, I had the feeling that his microphone was not that perfectly set compared to hers, maybe check it out ? Anyways thanks again!
