Solar is amazing, on this mini album she wrote 5 songs and composed 4 and I think it only has 6 songs, but that's pretty common when it comes to Mamamoo. You have just officially met one of the best vocalists in the industry who is called to be a judge in Korean vocal shows and of whom not even her fans know what type of music she will give us each time, although all the members of mamamoo are very versatile and can make you any musical style (something already demonstrated with Mamamoo and they solo careers). It is true that we can identify what type of music is they style, Solar has been in her career for 10 years and still not even Moomoo can say what it is her style, except that everything she puts out is completely different but equally incredible and of course what will never fail is her voice. You will already know why mamamoo are known as the vocal queens of kpop when you react to the killing voice or the Inmortal Songs Medley.
I always appreciate these talented people, and I really love when they're versatile. I'd love to check out the album if people want and I will be checking out that Killing Voice, I'm just so behind on everything lol. @@ChainReactionsChannel You are going to love Mamamoo as a whole for the same reason, since they are so different in terms of music and personalities, you can't say that any of them are superfluous because each one brings something different to the table, but at the same time they work so well together and their voices harmonize perfectly like angels, you would have to watch videos on RUclips of Mamamoo moments harmonizing just for fun and play, believe me there are vast of them, imagine that their intro as a group is singing their name in harmony.
Solar always challenges herself and tries new things in everything she does. This was simply a masterpiece of vocals, cinematography and visuals. Every Mamamoo member are truly artists. I love that the song starts with her singing about herself as a withered flower on a frozen floor. And it ends with her singing about herself as a flower that is in the sunlight & will never wither.

With Solar, I feel like every detail has a purpose, whether it be in the visuals, the way the song is composed, and even in the way she delivers each word and line. But she lets us interpret it however we want it, depending on how it impacted us and I agree that that is good art. And I love that it never gets boring with her. There's always something that would make you go "oh???" while listening to the song. The whole album is worth listening to as well, filled with diverse and complex set of songs that's mostly written and composed by her. I hope you get to check it out as well sometime.

It’s a song about resentment. I do remember Moonbuyl wanted to steal the song for herself. It’s a good video and an interesting watch in your spare time Like the first half is reflecting on that relationship and the second half is the recovery and aftermath after reflecting. This song really speaks to me reminds me of a really bad relationship I had in the past and my journey through the end and aftermath (like I could lowkey sing it at them and I would have a good time) The video is amazing and is perfect for the song. Like her vocalisation is amazing cause you feel this like strained pain in the verses especially in the first half and the chorus is like the relief and the end is like the woosah if that makes sense… it’s amazing, perfect I feel like the song was written for me I’d love to see you react to the full album It’s amazing and has a lot of variety and vibes. Solar made a RUclips video where she taught us about the whole concept of the album. Each song is represented by a colour and genre. And COLOURS is spelt the British way cause it contains “ours” cause the about is for all and about loving all the unique colours of people and yourself. So it’s like self love but also not that just Solar is amazing but so are we as the listener. It’s a fun and interesting watch and made me so hype for this album… As much as I love (G)I-DLE, Solar’s album COLOURS is my current contender for AOTY. I was so not expecting that turn, I was fooled into thinking it was a slow song with a sad undertone! 😅In terms of visuals, it's absolutely beautiful in true Mamamoo style, as a group they have many MVs with similar extraordinary visuals. And yes, Solar has a lovely voice and such a range, I don't know how much Mamamoo you've listened to, like is there more to what's on the channel? Either way, I'm glad they all still got it and they've true to their style but add a new touch to it which makes this song what it is. 🔥I've only listened to her explanations as to what's on hew album but haven't heard any teasers so I'm very curious to listen to the whole thing and see what she went for in all the styles she decided to touch! I listened to some of the solo stuff they've all released but MAMAMOO is one of many groups I am woefully behind on 😩 but they're all so very talented!

Haha! Yea we’re Moomoos (moo= radish). I really loved this reaction. I always love when reactors break down the song and the videos and explain how they’re interpreting it. It’s so cool to see what you think of the lyrics meaning. It’s definitely written to sound like a break up, but I think there was an interview where she had spoken about feeling with she wasn’t herself or something. And so the MV is more of her own interpretation of the lyrics for herself. And I agree- the artist always has their reason for writing a song, sometimes it’s about someone or something in their own life. But even though none of us have had that same experience, we can relate to the emotion of the song and relate it to something of our own. Solar and Mamamoo in general are excellent at making music like that. It’s like they truly understand what it is to be human and they bottle it up into a song.

My take on this song and video is that it's not about an external relationship but rather her relationship with herself. She drags a coffin, then a mirror and then herself. She talks a lot about being reborn or rejuvenated. Heck, it's even called "But, I". I also think from listening to interviews from her over the years that she's pretty self-conscious and self-reflecting, always trying to improve and re-invent herself. Of course, this means that the "I hate you" is directed at some aspect of herself or previous self. Anyway, just my reaction. Now, you've got to do some classic OT4 Mamamoo. I notice when Solar approaches the horse, you can see that it is an old horse. In the background you see a herd of wild horses running free. Not sure if it is a reference to herself getting older, i am not the best with symbolism.
Solar is my favorite singer world wide and mamamoo is the best group, especially for vocal talent. Solar wrote the lyrics to this and most songs on the albums and composes some, she is really playing the piano too at least for the live performances, in fact on her Solarsido youtube she have a video explaing her entire album(Blues is the best song and it is an actual blues song), she does a reaction video to But I then has a 3rd video of a piano only version including the rock parts and she is playing the piano live through the entire song. While I may be deep in the Solar system for my bias in the group, the other 3 members, Wheein, Hwasa and Moonbyul also have solo albums with Wheein and Moonbyul releasing albums a couple of months ago and Wheein is currently in the USA doing concerts. I saw mamamoo live last year in los angeles. You will want to react to all of their albums and the OSTs and covers. Solar has a lot of covers on her channel also, one of the best man in the mirror covers done with Michael Jacksons original backup singers and band (they asked her to join MJs band in a charity event during covid, she was on stage everyone else streamed in), the acapellas alone are worth reacting too. Moonbyul and Wheein are also active on youtube, Hwasa is not so active on her channel. For Solar's previous album, recommend watching the live performance video of Face, which has all 5 songs. Another good Mamamoo video is from the Hwasa TV show Episode 8(yes they do more than music) this is the mamamoo live hits collection which is actually a medley of songs but starts with the full song 1ellella and ends with paint me, one of their best ballads. Mamamoo vocally is an All-Star team playing in the regular season, then on top of that Solar has spent a decade paving new roads formerly forbidden to female idols. I mean she freaking normalized pole dancing in mv's AND award shows so then other idols could have a pole in their video because Solar already did it, and that's not even the top of the list of barriers she bashed down.
