- My name is Alan Carrigan I am 21 Years old and a wheelchair user from Ireland living with Quadriplegic Cerebral Palsy. I run two RUclips Channels called 'The Disabled Gamer' & 'Alans Accessible Adventure'.
Growing up in a mainstream school and being the only kid in a wheelchair motivated me to express my experience living with a disability across online platforms. This has led to a number of projects such as Podcasting, RUclips, Public Speaking and Disability Consultancy. I am looking to educate and challenge the way people perceive disability. Thanks for watching my talk
@@clairee4939 Glad you enjoyed
Hi Alan, I loved your talk. I have cerebral palsy. A good friend of mine sent me this video. From time to time if I'm out for dinner with family, strangers don't talk to me because they think because I have a physical disability that I must have a mental disability. I found your talk inspiring and I wish you all best in the rest of your life. Thank-you
Thanks Alans for sharing your talks
You kept the same wonderful, insightful energy flowing from rehearsal to performance. A privilege and a pleasure knowing you.
Cheers Anthony congratulations on your speech
LOVED THIS!! especially the non expected jokes that took the audience a few seconds to realize it was a joke 🤣 well done Alan!
Thanks Sofia, glad you got my jokes. People tend to get a bit uncomfortable when talking about so it felt only natural when writing to break the ice
Thank you so much for sharing your feelings and challenging “able bodied” people about how they perceive people in wheel chairs or who are in some other way not physically perfect. Warm greetings from Australia.
Outstanding talk. Thanks Alan
Thank you for sharing 🙏

Great video!
There's a mystery behind both positive and negative attitudes.
This guy was pretty funny. Too bad the audience was so dry. Laugh people it’s ok to crack a smile.
♿️👍
I hate inspirational too
