I had a dog who hated cars when I first adopted her. I practically cheered when she finally jumped in without hesitation or coaxing. We did so many road trips during our 13 1/2 years together. I miss her every day.
Sometimes you find them, sometimes they find you. He ended up exactly where he's supposed to be. ♥

A dog’s way home
The Lord God directed this puppy to the right people. Good for both. Praise God.
The children are so great with Ryder. It's obvious Ryder loves them too. What a wonderful Mom to rescue this beautiful pup.

She’s a wonderful mom! When she said we were in no way prepared for a dog, she didn’t let that stop her from doing right by Ryder. He fit into their little family so well, and is great with the children. I hope they have a long and happy life together. Ryder is a very loved and lucky boy.🐾🐾
It was like mother instincts kicked in all over again

I think a child should have a pet. It teaches them unconditional love, responsibility, empathy, and friendship. These little kids are so cute with Ryder.
Mom/person of the year. Even though you said you “weren’t prepared for a dog” you stepped up and took care of this little living soul anyway. Children can be unexpected too and people make do. Well done teaching your children not to “throw away” living beings. Ryder is so lucky to be in your beautiful family

That puppy clearly had a young boy he loved in his previous family. So sad he got abandoned, but so wonderful that he found a loving home.
She was so kind and patient with him. It's amazing how they know just where to go to find help. This is such a deserving family for such an amazing pup!

It's said that people who have passed away always return in the form of animals. It's good to introduce kids to animals at a young age, they learn patience, kindness etc and grow up to be good adults. This was a heartwarming video.
My brother passed away unexpectedly right before Christmas 2018, a few months later in March on my other brothers birthday this random little kitty showed up in my backyard and came running right up to me when I went to go check on him and hasn't left since ❤.
What good parents for teaching them to be so gentle and kind to animals 🥰

Beautiful story. So glad you found each other. He was probably afraid of cars because the last time he was in one, he got dumped. I hope he enjoys going for rides these days. I have a dog that has never learned to enjoy them. She will only ride if she's on the floor with her head tucked under the front seat. Very sad.
