      How about 6 carbs ?
      I know some of the older school water cooled VW guys run "bike carbs" on their old 16v 4 cylinders.
      Makes a sweet song at 7500.

    Back in the mid 70's I worked summers in my grandfather's auto shop. On of his biggest customers was a guy that owned a landscaping company. Bout every dump truck he had had a 292. Had to climb into the things to pull the head for valve job. Think it weighed as much as me. Great workhorse motors. Guy's ran them in dirt track cars here in S.C. Lots of aftermarket parts!!

    Not to get on a 292 rant, but Glenn Self out of Durant Oklahoma used to run a 292 with a furnace brazed head made from 2 SBC heads in Modified Production.

    That shop goes through a lot of elbow grease. Holy cows!!! That air gun making all kinds noise !! Damn nice shop. Richard doesn’t leave anybody as a stranger. Super nice guy !!! Can’t wait 😊. Oh ya Richard!! I bought a summit stage 1 truck cam. Sum 8712. 209/217 500lift with 112+1lsa. Just today. Wooo hooo. Plus I had to reorder valve springs. Those Edelbrock 5802 were totally wrong for a ls and my setup. Went for pac-1219 344spring rate.

      you can build one without a single old part.you can build a 2020 -1957 chevy,you can also do this with several other musclecars like the mid 60s mustang,60s camaro,barracuda etc.
      if you have the money you can drive a brand new 50s or 60s musclecar

      in Argentina they used to run N/A with a single carburetor (Weber 40 dcnf) on a 230 11.000 rpm 350 horsepower, they jumped to a an aluminium head with custom chambers and bigger valves and they were near 380 hp, but the cranks where splitting in half, right now they have a twin overhead cam aluminium head that its basically pluc and play with the old 230 and 250 blocks

    I had the jetting up on a smaller motor convo with a guy at the harley shop when I put a 36mm keihin on a Vulcan 700. I had to go up almost 20 jet sizes to get it to run right.

    The Brazilian exhaust manifold looks like it will do no favors for the turbo w/ those square turns cutting the exhaust velocity down. Wonder how bad the lag is going to be...

    Mr. Holdener, if it's possible could you show us on the dyno the difference between an engine on Nitrous and an engine on 10 to 20 percent Nitro???
    Turbo Optional, I just watched the 1320 Video of the Turbo inline Chevys in Brazil running 10 percent Nitro and 60 pounds of boost.
    2200 horses with a 250 Chevy six is mind blowing.

      Ditto for me on the nitromethane. It would be interesting to see how dosing some in the fuel would effect power. I've got to check out the Brazilian I6 scene. Never even heard of it till now. I have watched sand dune climbs from Dubai with Nissan I6's.

    Richard what about making a test of flat tapped hydraulic lifters dyno tests, normal OEM lifter vs short travel vs anti pump up vs short travel with micro orifice vs non vs slow bleed downs vs any other fancy marketing name the different brands of lifters -re-sellers can come up with, and see how much HP/TQ is to made or lose with them, this shall be I guess a not so expensive test and even fast with a engine where you don't need to pull out the intake or cylinder head out.

    Richard, how about comparing the K&N carburetor injection system to one of the EFI systems. At about $500, it's way less expensive than an EFI setup!!

    High five to Shane for given the opportunity for continuing testing the 292, this Clifford manifold was the one I was hoping for Richard to get his hands on due to the positioning of the carburetors for a more even distribution, and again thanks Richard for tacking the time to go over there so we can see more awesome " the other guy engine " testing.

    how cool would it be if you could get either 3 really small dual carbs , or 3 single barrels attached to a custom ITB tubular manifold , gets even more complicated once you add the turbo and have to have 3 pipes diverging to each one off the inter cooler but think of the even distribution gain with the ability to control the carb signal much better due to a straight runners all with equal length that you get to choose.

      P.T. ..............40 years ago , Bruce Sizemore ,H/MP did a 300 cyl. Ford with Boss 302 heads , bore spacing was close enough and it was a go, PS it took 3 heads for 1 motor !!!!!!!!!!!

      @@dannycalley7777 Sweet. I saw an article a while back, which I unfortunately didn't bookmark, where a guys was getting something like 3hp per cubic inch out of a inline 6 250 I think. He had made some cross flow heads in a similar way but I can't remember the exact details.
