Marie Pierre except if you are a low skilled worker the demand on job is extremely high. It is the best city if you are in education sector, medical field, finance but retail, restaurants and such 👎 you can be replaced in a day but it will take you months to get a simple work. And if you own your property that’s another bonus

The ocean is not rising by feet, the sand is doing as sand on any coastline be it the Great Lakes or the oceans. It is slow motion grains of sand being carried to and from. The larger and longer the storms the more may wash from here to there. The faster the Gulf Stream moves and undulates east and west, the more the change. Man must adapt to the earth, not the other way around.

in the 80's I took my kids to the Natural History Museum in Brewster. It was shown to us how the sand changes over time. The shifting sands were a concern then as well as Monomoy. We were told that the beaches and sands have been changing for 100s of years, that is part of what makes cape cod interesting. Regarding Nauset beach, in the 60's there was a very long path from the parking lot to the beach, and I recall the sand was very hot, as we had no flip flops. I guess I am wondering, is this just more of the same, the natural changes of the cape, or have the speed of the changes picked up in the last decade or so. It sure is awful and the changes at Nauset, Coast Guard, Marconi, and all the outer beaches has been heartbreaking. . Homes near Breakwater beach dont have much time left. We owned a place in the 60's and 70's there, and have sadly observed the changes. So much happened before the discussion of global warmingI Is there a way to show if this is the natural progression of the cape, or has it sped up a bit.

before it was Liam's it was Philbrick's so compared to your time line, this change has been happening longer than we were here...

Lets see, a peninsula that is almost 100% sand that was built up over thousands of years of the Gulf Stream carrying sand from the south to the north. Now wave action, rain and winds are now removing sand yet again. Hay look ma, the Sand based peninsula of cape Cod is changing as normal yet again.
Sing it Ma, “ all the sand washes here,,, gets deposited there,,, next thing you know the beaches Chang,,,Giving all the yuppies a scare.” One more time Ma, “ all the sand washes here,,, gets deposited there,,, next thing you know the beaches Chang,,,Giving all the yuppies a scare.” 👏👏👏👏👏👍👍😹

Rising sea level is a cumulative effect
    Things were used to be
    Something's gotta give
