it feels weird how you painted the transparency. Almost all the parts where the cloth contacts the skin is white while the parts that don't a skin colored.
It feels very upside-down as normally with wet/transparent clothes the skin is most visible where the cloth stretches on the skin and opaque where it doesn't.
In a way it is the same feeling as how GW painted flames upside-down in the past (black at the bottom, yellow-white on the tip, while in reality the fire core at the bottom is white-yellow)

That's exactly what I thought. It makes absolutely no sense where the transparent parts are placed.

Glad to see I wasn't the only one who instantly thought this. He placed the colors opposite to the way he should have.

Yeah I was confused too. All the colours used were right but not the way if I had the skill to, would have placed.

Yes but also it kind of depends. If your fabric color is darker than your skin tone then you absolutely would reverse it, but with a white or very light fabric you're kind of forced to use the skin color as a shadow color and the white as the highlight to sell the color of the cloth as white. I think Mr. Giraldez was overly aggressive with the white in this demonstration, but with the example here you can see that even though he did push the white too far the effect still works on the legs and buttocks to a decent degree because of the degree of shading present, it doesn't work on the breasts and belly where the shading is significantly less dramatic but the eye expects the cloth to be close to the skin. If I had to guess, the reason he did not push the use of the skin tones further was to avoid making the cloth appear wet and see through rather than just sheer.

Yeah, this is the opposite way to show sheer transparency. The shadows should be the colour of the dress not the skin; that shows through on areas where the cloth actually touches the skin.

Respect to Mr. GiraldeZ and thank you for always showing us your beautiful work. Art is a personal perception just as when we look at life, I may see a yellow lemon but then someone else may see the yellow greenish lemon. None the less we are all blessed with the quirks of art. 🤗👍🙏

Creo que no soy el único que piensa que las zonas más pegadas ala piel deberían ser las que transparenten, y no al revés.
