    A 3Music that has not been able to successfully hold music awards in Ghana for 10 years,people from that same organization are criticizing the Grammys that has been running successfully and prestigiously for 64 years.
    But we understand, its because Nigerians were nominated, if it were Egyptians and Senegalese that were in the category there would have been no conversation! We know the nuance!!
    Keep wallowing in your sense of entitlement,Grammy CEO came to Ghana and you all felt you had won the world cup, you will always meet Naija in front, na who sabi way, know way!!

    Sweet melody, tasty harmony, catchy hooks, soothing rythm, advanced sonic and production, plenty groove, originality and spirituality. These are the ingredients of most Nigerian made Afrobeat records. Can someone tell our Ghanaian brothers to work more on these areas. I hear they have been asking what are they not doing right. No bad blood.

    The same Ghana that paid the flight ticket for the Grammy CEO to come to Ghana,bribed him and tried to influence him to give them Grammy nominations but it didn’t work.Grammy took Ghanaian money and still gave the nominations to the right people who deserve it.Naija no dey carry last.Hahahaha

    They have taken the entitlement from Afrobeats, to Nigeria and now to Grammy. The world will not cater to your own peculiar interests. Stonebwoy as a Afro-dancehall artist is actually least qualified to be considered "traditional" than any of the nominations. Even the local Gh award is by a Nigerian. Build your own and tailor it as you wish.

    City Boy is definitely not "purely" hip-hop. An American who does not know Burna and has never heard of Afrobeats would recognize it as something that is not squarely in the genre. City Boy is Afro-fuson, which is a sub-genre Burna designates for himself.

    Why is Ghana the only country questioning the Grammy?
    Popularity of the songs is also part of the criteria.
    If a song is technically good, but is not popular and does not impact people, then how can you rate the song?
    Ghana should move on.
    Every thing is not competition. Ghana sees everything as NATIONAL competition.
