'Palette' is such an insanely good, diverse and *interesting* album. The evolution of her as an artist over the past decade is crazy. And she's only in her mid-20s! Can't wait to see where her 30s and 40s take her.

@@NekoChan97-q4j Agree! I think it's fine to compare two artists if there is no harm intended, but saying that IU is "better" than Taeyeon is just rude. Both of them have unique voices and I love their different singing styles

I have an idea. How about let the reactors react to her concerts? IU teamstarcandy made an unofficial Palette concert DVD, a compilation of official videos released by Loen (because they won't release an official DVD ㅠㅠ). They put lyrics subtitles too!

She is so talented.. For me she is the most talented and the best solo singer in korea. She has great voice, and of course great attitude and pure soul.. So perfect.. If you dont agree, fight me!

it is not her real name, but it was her nickname on younger days at school because they replace the eum (silver) into geum (gold)
No, it's a play on IU's real name 이지은 - 은 in Korean also means silver but to sound better? I guess, sometimes she writes it 이지금 because 금 means gold and gold is better than silver. But the other stuff Umu said about it meaning right now is also a play on that. She (IU) explained this in an interview once, don't remember where

IU’s real name is ‘이지은 (Lee Ji Eun)’. ‘Eun’ can mean ‘silver’ as well and she mentioned during the Palette Epilogue film screening that her friends used to call her ‘이지금은통 (Lee Ji Gold Silver Bronze)’ when she was young, so that’s how she came up with the name ‘이지금 (Lee Ji Gold)’ for her instagram. ‘이지금’ also has a double meaning of ‘right now’, so it was used as the song title for one of her tracks on the Palette album.

I've never agreed more on a reactors, reaction to IU's Dlwlrma tbh. hahaha. I'm totally on board with it being short and it giving me that feeling of wanting more ( i know it's an intro track) but I also agree that it's just perfect the way it is (lol) and I 100,000% agree that it's a PRODUCTIVE-EASY-GOING song! XD. There's so much going on in the song yet at the same time it sounds so....easy going? WOW.

Dlwlrma is not really a word. It’s what you get when you type Korean word 이 지금 in English keyboard. 이 지금 means right now and can be pronounced as yi jigeum...

Ah! Another thing that might be interesting: during 2015, IU, GD, Zion.T, Oh Hyuk etc took part on a tv show called ‘infinity challenge’ where they had to make songs for a festival. You can see the part of the process and in the end, the song that chatted better in the os the winner .

In case anyone is wondering (I didn't see a comment mentioning it?) "dlwlrma" corresponds to the English keyboard letters you'd type when using the 2-set Korean keyboard to type "이지금," which is IU's nickname. There's no right way to pronounce it because it's totally not a real word
