ST just wrapped up their US Tour for their newest album Take Me Back To Eden (TMBTE). I saw them in September. Do yourself the favor of reacting to new album songs. Add various songs from the 1st 2 albums, plus earlier EP choices. You will not regret it.
Saw them at Louder than Life. Didn't know much about them 2 weeks prior to the show, so I binged thru their top songs and made time to go see them. Wasn't an easy task because I was WAY deep in the crowd for Falling in Reverse (20 yards from the stage) and they played immediately after across the whole complex. Well worth the hassle, because they were straight up AMAZING live
I had just discovered them a few weeks prior and really liked them. I too saw them at LTL and to describe that experience is impossible. That performance genuinely changed me. My son as well. We are both absolutely mesmerized. They have consumed me.
Fantastic reaction. It was clear how much you enjoyed it. I’d recommend the following for your next Sleep Token reaction(s)… ‘Ascensionism’ from Take Me Back to Eden ‘’Hypnosis’ from This Place Will Become Your Tomb ‘The Offering’ from Sundowning W O R S H I P
I would advise a deep dive. Frankly their music is great with only a few misses in my opinion. Worth the time and effort. Other tubers have done the deep dive and I have enjoyed watching them. Project Jango, The Lone Rager, and Tyler Reacts have been my favorite so far.
I have noticed that their fan bases overlap a lot. Tool has been my favorite band for years. I was so excited they both played LTL. I’m now obsessed with ST.
The three albums are a trilogy, and if you really want to get into them then I would suggest doing them in order to really grasp the full extent of the story. Vessel is an amazing songwriter and everything is intertwined. At least start with The Night Does Not Belong To God. That one sets the stage for all that follows.
