If you search in Morden's journal, Morden describes the dark sea as a place where a normal compass spins around like crazy and storms are way common and way powerfull, Morden don't describe it as a place where you can't see nothing or a place that kills you because of insanity. I just think that right now the dark sea is just a map border, but i believe in future updates the dark sea will be a place where you can safe travels.
Welp, probably. Not to the point of entirely safe travel, but thinking that Vetex plans to expand on it, he definitely will make more bearable

Vetex is going to make Dark Sea expeditions which would grant very high rewards if you return safely. On his Trello, the "To Do" list has a "Start Dark Sea generated content" meaning that expeditions will be available at maybe around the third update.

There might be something similar to a log pose (from one piece) if the dark seas truly break the compass.
The fact that he found it east of redwake might be important, because even if the location is randomized - Morden's Journal also says it's east of the pelion rift.

@texty also, order probably needs an actually good candidate to get curse, and I don't think that without absorption curse you can have more than 1
@@shawermus no cursebeard had 4 curses and didnt need an absorption curse, absorption only makes it so when you kill the curse user the curse doesnt fly away
Mimhere Island being randomly placed does make sense. As we already know of something with nearly identical properties. The random icebergs. You could be right in front of the icebergs, and they won't appear on the map, so if Mimhere doesn't show up on the map as well it must have that same property.

How to find mimhere island:
Step one: ask the guy if he did anything before going to find the island. Do anything that he said he did earlier, in exact order that he did it, with all the same possible variables.
Step two: install fly hacks
Step three: lightning speed fly around the map until you see the text pop up
Step four: you’ll get banned, but you’ll have found it.
Step five: post to RUclips
there is probably something stopping exploiters from reaching mimhere island cuz if they could flyhack there mimhere island woudlnt be a legend.

The dark sea isn't even possible to properly explore without some kind of bug, so adding content in there would be kinda stupid, it's possible they planned doing dark sea events way earlier, but it was too complicated and hard to do, so after a few tests (one of which was mimhere island) they decided to do the idea later. Also you didn't answer why they would make it a legend.

Even if it’s not real its interesting to see people explain it, at this point I believe Mimhere Island will be some kind of legendary island for a secret boss or a final boss area! Or just a island with so many rare and bronze chests your game lags out 😂

@@hekdasa no like, the dark sea is like a dungeon mode where bosses and loot spawns randomly, maybie there are other islands that also spawn BUT we only have seen mimhere island, maybie cuz its a reminicent of the dark sea content before it got deleted off the main place of the game

Assuming Morden's journal info is real, and that this video isn't total bs, there could be a possibility not that it's randomly generated in the Dark Sea, but that it has a CHANCE to spawn when a server is created, or possibly even has spawn/despawn intervals, no one knows for sure
Morden's journal info is probably about the future dark sea, not the one we currently have.
I feel like this is one of the 3 islands that Vetex is planning to put in the game. Except now with this speculation on its existence it might be the final island where the games story is completed.
i have a trick for seeing long distances in the fog: put your camera underwater and wait for it to adjust, then put it back up really fast and you can see faraway islands ive done this when i was at ravenna and looked at shell island, but this only works with max graphics or u cant see very far. you can prob try this if ur stil looking for mimhere

Dude, i think mimhere island is an unfinished island that spawns, right now you could barely go through it because its covered in the dark sea but probably in the later updates once the sea becomes larger i think we could get an even closer look (that is if the devs do not move mimhere island back onto the dark seas 💀)
I recall an NPC on one of the late game islands mentioning a thing called ‘magic pollution’ and theoretically there should be a centre. Considering the dark sea gives you insanity maybe MIMIHERE island is the centre?
Here’s my question, there’s a glitch where it is possible to play arcane odyssey within the main menu, all the locations are the same(will add on) and everything is pre generated like a normal lobby. Exceptions that I have found is, you can’t spawn a boat and you aren’t given any weapons or abilities. Instead water acts differently and you are able to walk through it like it’s not an object. What is the possibility of mimhere being located in this area? This area is searchable due to no stamina needed and you can walk endlessly without the effects of the dark sea. I feel it would be difficult to search this area though without some kind of exploit.
How to enter: When choosing character click teleport and simply teleport to a player in your lobby in the main menu.

When you speak to a certain NPC at Sailor's Lodge, he describes the crooked landscapes of the dark sea. "Barren" wastelands with towering mountains of obsidian. It may be a stretch, but perhaps Mimhere is connected to that

imagine its the final area where like like the leader of the order or something is
i actually have managed to catch a glimpse of mimhere when i got launched VERY far by some bug or glitch, but before i realised what has happened i was already dead, the place where i found it was `almost the width of the WHOLE Bronze Sea` East, at about the same height as fort Talos, i was doing cargo at that time so i lost about 3k galleons worth of it at that moment, i was both amazed and mad.
correction: i have not seen the island itself, just the title
i guess that's what happened in the one mimhere youtube video as well.. once I got flung so far i started getting floating point errors, still didn't see anything tho
@@uttopielec i also got yeeted there bro and i onlly saw the title the area in where u get the title is way bigger than the island so it means 2 things 1 eaither vetex forgot to set the right radius while making the script or 2 the island is supoused to be bigger than it currently is

I am not even joking, but i actually been there, it was my first time in the dark sea, so when i saw it i didn't actually think of it highly, i just thought that there's islands in that sea. I didn't actually explore it bcs it looked creepy and dangerous due to the fog and all of the dark sea weather but i am POSITIVE that it is there. GL to anyone trying to get to it.
You know, I can’t wait for someone to find it sailing around in layer 4 or 5, and it’s some epic loot island that gives like 3 acrimonies and is just covered in sealed and golden chests

it dosent really make sense for there to be an island on the dark sea, vetex says in the trello (i think) that he wants the dark sea to be kind of like a roguelike experience, where it is completly random every time.
Rogue-likes still have some familiar things, like locations, or items.
@@mishagaming1075 yeah i put the wrong term in there, from what vetex says in the trello it seems he wants more of a rogue-*lite* thing where you basically are 99% randomized
but maybe mimhere island would have a set location for it specifically maybe, or the whole island could just be randomized from server to server
or it's maybe just a script that vetex made, seeing how his skin is similiar to morden, the island is described as west of rift, and he said there's friends that "no longer see" meaning some other people might have seen something this rare and didnt even bother to screenshot

i glitched myself on a boatt and it yeeted me into dark sea and when i died it said "mimhere island" tho i didint see anything over there just water like anywhere else the actualy range of the island might be way bigger than the island itself so it means 1 the island will have some under water stuff or 2 the island is supoused to be way bigger than it currently is and its still not fully finished

That would be too much of a cliche trope.
Or instead of the island spawning randomly they probably just accidentally updated the game for like 5 minutes and the server that launched had the island in it and they updated it back and removed the island. So that server he was in was one that launched after they added the island accidentally and every new server that started after that doesn’t have it.

I think what mimhere is a testing island , it’s a base for islands it might have been, Samaria for the nimbus sea or could have been another island to be made or could have been the 2 other islands in the bronze sea?

Its as big as Ravenna..?? That could literally mean that in a few Months when Nimbus Sea comes out and the Storyline continues that It could actually play a BIG part in the Storyline, i would think that whereever Nimbus Sea will be placed or so, that either you need to go through the Dark Sea a bit and will be teleported there (When joining the Game you see 'Traveling to the Bronze Sea so yeah') or directly can enter Nimbus Sea which could have about 5 Islands and loot from there will be much more Valueable and Cargo will give much more Money. Very maybe It could actually relate to other Order Members, or just like Hints sometimes say
'If you want to fight your friends, go to a Arena without Penalty to not loose Status.'

Nimbus is (proof is from some npc in syndicate area) south of bronze sea, and so is every other sea so you probably have to go through dark sea behind othrys which is annoying but we’ll get used to it

went in direction to mount othrys and got in a area that was insanely fucking bright

Damn, if this island is as big as ravenna how the hell are ppl gonna explore it? I mean the effects of insanity 5 is still gonna be a huge problem, so i think thats gonna be nearly impossible for an average player to find and explore the island

We know that Akursius Keep is most likely the key to exploring the dark sea safely.

I thought there was a glitch with something to do with the skeletons on akuruius keep.
I do think someone should exploit and fly around the dark sea, to find it.
I’ve deleted all fog, all insanity effects and searched the dark sea for hours, there is no island 💀 there’s nothing in the data to suggest it
Anyway if you want funny exploiter help let me know, it’s by no means hard to get everyone into the dark sea

The island probably isnt there, but the area where the island will be is. So when you enter that area, it triggers the title of the island that is supposed to be there.

Turns out there's an exploit that allows you to change your last seen, mimhere doesn't exist. been through 10 different servers and checked the entirety East of dark sea. Maybe it will come next update.
But the exploiter cant change the text for you, he can only change it for himself, for example thats why he cant give you a fly or a noclip.
